How is this ranking computed?

A card "opens a door" when its lounge-access networks (Priority Pass, DreamFolks, DreamFolks Railway, Visa, Mastercard, Diners, Amex, RuPay, direct) intersect a tracked lounge's admitting networks — the same computation as the lounge map. The strong number is the up-front fee ÷ doors opened, lowest first: the cost of each door on your keyring. "Up-front" is the annual fee on a card that renews, the one-time joining charge on a card that doesn't, and the joining charge on a card that levies both (its annual fee starts at the 12-month mark). Cards that cost the same per door — every lifetime-free card divides ₹0 into any number of doors — break the tie on doors opened, most first, and only then on our ranking; where that leaves cards still level, we say so instead of crowning whichever one our ranking happened to like. WHAT THIS NUMBER IS NOT: it prices the door, never the walk through it. Frequency is a separate, per-card fact, so every row also carries its visit allowance verbatim from the issuer's terms and is marked "gated" where the issuer attaches a prior-spend or relationship condition to any part of it. A lifetime-free card that opens 735 doors a handful of times a year and a fee-paying card that opens fewer without ever counting are both true — they answer different questions, and the answer above names both.
