What it's worth to you, after the fee
Welcome: 1,000 reward points
Priced on the everyday mix — 30% groceries · 10% utilities · 20% travel · 6% fuel · 34% everything else — with this card's published category rules applied. Plus milestones, minus the fee. No accelerator credit — the ranking model on /compare adds ~20% of spend at the card's best accelerator, so its ₹ for this card reads higher.

Pays for itself at ₹7,000 a month
At ₹7,000 a month — ₹84,000 a year — on the everyday mix this card returns ₹1,000 gross (earn ₹400 + milestones ₹600) against its ₹999 fee = ₹0 net — the first rung at or above ₹0. The ladder runs in ₹1,000 steps to ₹1,00,000 a month and ₹10,000 steps to ₹5,00,000; figures are rounded to the hundred, and the accelerator is never credited.
2 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · why it ranks #35
Why #35 Four international lounge visits a year on a card that costs nothing to get and ₹999 to keep — waived at ₹1,00,000 of spend — is one of the cheapest international lounge doors in India, and that quota is the entire case for the card. The earn is not: 4 points per ₹200 at ₹0.25 a point is 0.5%, which is under what a plain cashback card pays, and the 3.5% forex markup means the lounge you are sitting in abroad is the only thing working for you.
The take
Buy this card for the quota and nothing else. One domestic **and** one international lounge visit every calendar quarter means four of each a year, on a card that costs nothing to take out and ₹999 to renew — and the renewal waives at ₹1,00,000 of annual spend, which is ₹8,400 a month. International lounge access at that price is genuinely rare; most cards that offer it start at ₹2,500 and climb. Everything else is thin, and we would rather say so. Four reward points per ₹200 is 2 points per ₹100, and a Delight Point is ₹0.25 by Bandhan's own Value Chart, so the base rate is **0.5%** — worse than the flat 1% a no-frills cashback card pays. The grocery-and-travel accelerator doubles that to 1%, which merely gets you back to par. And the foreign-currency markup is the full 3.5%, so the card that flies you into the lounge charges you the standard toll to spend anything once you land. The points, like every Delight Point, redeem in Bandhan's own catalogue and reach no airline or hotel. Held as a cheap second card for the lounge visits, it earns its ₹999. Held as your main spending card, it costs you money against almost anything else on this board.

Here is the fee, the spend that clears it, and everything that has moved under this card since you last decided.
Keep, downgrade or cancel
₹999/yr at stake · 5 spend bands
The charge ₹0 joining, then ₹999/yr
The waiver ₹1,00,000 of spend in the year before renewal — about ₹8,333 a month — and the renewal fee is not charged.

The downgrade
Bandhan Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and the numbers above are the whole of it.
If you call to cancel
What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- 1 domestic and 1 international lounge visit every quarter — four of each a year
- Nil joining fee; the ₹999 renewal waives at ₹1,00,000 of annual spend
- 8 reward points per ₹200 on grocery and travel, double the base rate
- 1,200 bonus points every month you spend ₹30,000 — ₹3,600 a year on Bandhan's own Value Chart
- 1,000-point activation benefit — Bandhan publishes no spend gate and no window for it, only a ₹250 line in its own Value Chart
Watch out
- 0.5% base earn — under what a plain cashback card pays, and the accelerator only reaches par
- 3.5% foreign-currency markup, the full Indian norm, on a card sold on international lounge access
- Delight Points reach no airline and no hotel — ₹0.25 in the Delights catalogue is the ceiling
- 3.5% monthly interest — 42% a year — for new and existing customers alike, unlike Flare and Lumina
- Bandhan publishes no lounge network and no lounge list; 'select airports' is all the MITC says
- Every unredeemed point is forfeited the moment the card closes (Cardholder's Agreement §13.13)
What these points actually fly
No live transfer route takes Bandhan Delight Points into a programme that publishes an award chart. These points buy catalogue and portal redemptions, not award seats — so this page has no flight to show you, and will not invent one.

Does your spend count toward the fee waiver?
not published — and we say which
₹1,00,000 a year is the bar that waives the ₹999 fee. A different question from the one above — earning points and counting toward a threshold are separate rules, and issuers write them separately.
Not published. Bandhan Bank states what the Bandhan Bank Ignite Credit Card earns, but has not published which spend categories count toward the fee waiver and the milestones — the ₹1,00,000 bar. We won't guess it from the earn table or from a sibling card: Axis published three cards' rules on one day and all three lists differed. If you hold this card and have it in writing from the issuer, send us the document and we'll source it.

Bandhan sells all four of its credit cards to its own base — every Apply Now button says "For existing Bandhan Bank customers only" — so the bank account comes first. No income floor, age band or eligibility table is published for any variant, and we will not invent one. The application begins with a mobile number and a PAN.
Bandhan Bank publishes no income or age cutoffs for this card. Blank means blank — we don't invent numbers to fill a grid.

The fine print
7 of 7 MITC rows published
What the MITC actually says — the rates, fees and cutoffs the brochure skips.
Bandhan publishes ONE MITC for its whole five-card shelf, dated 13 Jul 2026, and it is the only fee document the bank puts out. Add-on cards carry no joining and no annual fee on any variant. Reward redemption is free. EMI processing ₹99 and EMI foreclosure 3% of the remaining outstanding, min ₹100, on every variant. Bandhan publishes NO income floor, NO age band and NO eligibility table for any of its four cards — not on the product page, not in the MITC, not in the Cardholder''s Agreement — so those rows are honestly empty. Every Apply Now button reads "For existing Bandhan Bank customers only", which is the only entry criterion the bank states. Note also what the renewal-fee waiver does NOT count: "Rent payment transactions and wallet load transactions, along with any associated processing fees, will not be considered when availing of the renewal fee waiver." Ignite is Nil to join and ₹999 to renew, waived on ₹1,00,000 of annual spend. Rent (MCC 6513) carries a 1% fee plus GST with no cap. Fuel surcharge waiver 1%, max ₹250 a statement cycle, on transactions between ₹500 and ₹4,000. Card re-issuance ₹100; returned payment ₹350; cash payment at a branch ₹100. Unlike Flare and Lumina, Ignite gets no existing-customer interest discount — 3.5% a month applies to everyone.
