What it's worth to you, after the fee
Welcome: Not published — Fi advertises no joining bonus on MagniFi, which is consistent with a card that charges nothing to open
Priced on the everyday mix — 30% groceries · 10% utilities · 20% travel · 6% fuel · 34% everything else — with this card's published category rules applied. Plus milestones, minus the fee. No accelerator credit — the ranking model on /compare adds ~20% of spend at the card's best accelerator, so its ₹ for this card reads higher.

Pays from the first rupee
At ₹1,000 a month — ₹12,000 a year — on the everyday mix this card returns ₹100 gross (earn ₹100) against its ₹0 fee = ₹100 net — at or above ₹0 from the first rung we price. The ladder runs in ₹1,000 steps to ₹1,00,000 a month and ₹10,000 steps to ₹5,00,000; figures are rounded to the hundred, and the accelerator is never credited.
2 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · why it ranks #827
Why #827 The weekend card of the Federal-Fi range: a lifetime-free everyday card whose good rate ran Saturday and Sunday and whose ordinary rate ran the rest of the week, both metered to ₹500 a month. Withdrawn with the rest of the programme on 20 March 2026, and carried for the reader still holding one.
The take
MagniFi is the clearest idea in the Federal-Fi range and the easiest to judge. It cost nothing — no joining fee, no annual fee, no minimum spend, stated three separate ways on Fi's own page — and it split the week in two. Weekend spending, Saturday and Sunday, earned at ten times the weekday rate; weekday spending earned at the ordinary rate; and both rungs were metered to the same ₹500 a month, which is the number that actually governs the card. Two thousand Fi-Points a month on each side, worth ₹500 each, is a hard ceiling of ₹1,000 a month of return no matter how much you put through it — so MagniFi rewarded a specific behaviour rather than a big balance, and Fi's own savings breakdown says as much by pricing the weekend and weekday rungs at ₹6,000 a year apiece. Around that sat a monthly discount rota — Amazon, Zepto, Zomato and BookMyShow, each once a month at a fifth off up to ₹100, on a ₹500 minimum order — and the same Fi-Points redemption set the whole range shared: cash, gift cards or airline miles. It is being switched off. Fi's page carries a notice reading "Your MagniFi Federal Fi Credit Card will be discontinued from 20 March 2026", and Federal Bank's own co-branded page lists the entire Federal-Fi programme as discontinued. Card usage and benefits run to that date; dues and specifics go through federalficards@federalbank.co.in. This desk publishes no reward rate for it because Fi-Points are not yet a priced currency here — every figure Fi states is preserved in the sources.

The downgrade
Federal Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and the numbers above are the whole of it.

If you call to cancel
What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- Lifetime free three ways over: no joining fee, no annual fee and no minimum spend
- Weekend spending earned at ten times the weekday rate, Saturday and Sunday
- A monthly discount rota on Amazon, Zepto, Zomato and BookMyShow — a fifth off up to ₹100 each, once a month, on a ₹500 minimum order
- Fi-Points redeemable for cash, gift cards or airline miles, the same exit set as the rest of the Federal-Fi range
Watch out
- Being withdrawn on 20 March 2026 — Federal Bank lists the whole Federal-Fi programme as discontinued and Fi has stopped taking new applications
- Both rungs were capped at 2,000 Fi-Points a month, worth ₹500 — a hard ₹1,000-a-month ceiling on what the card could return, whatever you spent
- Fi-Points are not yet priced on this desk, so no reward rate is published here — Fi's own figures are recorded in the sources but not converted into a rate
- Rewards were paid on eligible spends only, with the exclusions living in the MITC rather than on the page
- No lounge access and no forex relief on this rung — those belonged to the AmpliFi
What these points actually fly
No live transfer route takes Fi-Points into a programme that publishes an award chart. These points buy catalogue and portal redemptions, not award seats — so this page has no flight to show you, and will not invent one.

- 23 Aug 2026Federal Bank discontinues the Jupiter Edge and Fi co-brand programmesFederal Bank issued co-branded credit cards with Europa Neomarketing (Federal Edge, sold as Jupiter Edge) and Fi Brand (AmpliFi, SimpliFi, MagniFi). → Both programmes discontinued. Federal's co-branded index carries two support mailboxes for existing holders and nothing else.
Federal Bank's co-branded credit-card index, stamped "Last Updated On : 23 Aug 2026", says it plainly: the programmes run with Europa Neomarketing and Fi Brand "have been discontinued". The three Fi siblings were already carried as closed on this board; the Jupiter Edge was the row nobody flipped, and it sat at `availability: open` until today. Recorded as a launch-class event because what changed is the PROGRAMME, not a price — no fee moved and no rate was cut. The card simply stopped being something a reader could get, which is the one fact a shelf must never be wrong about. Note the disagreement rather than resolving it: jupiter.money still sells the card with a live apply funnel, so a reader can currently apply for a product the issuing bank says is discontinued. The issuer's word governs the shelf; the partner's page is recorded in the card's watchOut. Federal's notice does NOT name the CSB-issued Edge cards, so nothing here reaches them.
