What it's worth to you, after the fee
Priced on the everyday mix — 30% groceries · 10% utilities · 20% travel · 6% fuel · 34% everything else — with this card's published category rules applied. Plus milestones, minus the fee. No accelerator credit — the ranking model on /compare adds ~20% of spend at the card's best accelerator, so its ₹ for this card reads higher.

Still costs ₹500 a year at ₹5,00,000 a month
At ₹5,00,000 a month, the top of the ladder we scan, on the everyday mix this card returns ₹0 gross against its ₹499 fee = −₹500 net — still under water, and nothing lower on the ladder does better. The ladder runs in ₹1,000 steps to ₹1,00,000 a month and ₹10,000 steps to ₹5,00,000; figures are rounded to the hundred, and the accelerator is never credited.
3 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · the network variants · why it ranks #813
Why #813 A dining card that pays nothing on anything else. Ten percent on restaurants and cinemas, and a flat zero on groceries, fuel, travel, bills and every other rupee — against a ₹499 fee that no spend waives.
A Dining Point is worth ₹1 on the catalogue — four Kotak Rewards, the top of Kotak's per-point range. Redeem for statement credit instead and you get 70 paise, cut from ₹1 on 1 June 2025, with a 2,000-point minimum.
The take
Feast Gold is the narrowest card Kotak has ever sold, and it is honest about it. Ten Dining Points per ₹100 at restaurants and cinemas, a Dining Point worth a full rupee, so 10% back at the table and the multiplex. On everything else — groceries, fuel, flights, bills, insurance, a laptop — Kotak's own accrual table prints a single word in the other-category row: None. Four gates stand between the headline and the money, and all four are published. You have to put ₹5,000 of dining and movie spend through the card inside the billing cycle before any point is earned. Only the first five dining or movie transactions in the cycle count. No single transaction above ₹4,000 qualifies. And the whole thing stops at 600 Dining Points a cycle — ₹600 of value a month, ₹7,200 a year, and that is the card's entire earning capacity. The outlet has to be stand-alone too: a restaurant inside a hotel, a mall or a department store is excluded by Kotak's own clause 4.3, which is most of the good ones. Set that against ₹499 a year that no spend waives — Kotak prints NA in both waiver columns — and against a card that also has no fuel surcharge waiver, no railway surcharge waiver and no lounge access of any kind. It was called Trump Gold before Kotak renamed it; the schedule of charges still footnotes the change. It is discontinued for new sourcing, and if you are still holding one, the arithmetic is simple: unless you spend ₹6,000 a month at stand-alone restaurants and cinemas in five transactions or fewer, this card costs more than it pays.
Your renewal — keep, downgrade or cancel
On everyday spend, nothing we model covers this card’s fee — whatever it is worth, it is not worth it for swiping.
Keep, downgrade or cancel
₹499/yr at stake · 5 spend bands
The charge ₹0 joining, then ₹499/yr
Break-even Nothing up to ₹5,00,000 a month covers this card's fee on everyday spend — at that ceiling it is still ₹499 a year under water. This model credits everyday earn and milestones, never the accelerator — on a card that pays mostly in dining & cinema at stand-alone outlets, that category is where any case for keeping it has to come from.

The downgrade
Kotak Mahindra Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and the numbers above are the whole of it.

What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- 10 Dining Points per ₹100 at stand-alone restaurants and cinemas — 10% at ₹1 a point
- A Dining Point is worth a full rupee on the catalogue, four Kotak Rewards
- Nothing to join — Kotak prints NIL against the joining line beside the ₹499 renewal
- Add-on cards carry the same benefits, with per-card spend limits and separate tracking
- Balance transfer at a ₹349 processing fee per ₹10,000, with the interest-free period preserved on fresh purchases
Watch out
- Every rupee outside dining and cinema earns NOTHING — Kotak's accrual table prints "None" in the other-category row
- Four gates on the 10%: ₹5,000 of dining/movie spend in the cycle first, only the first five such transactions, nothing above ₹4,000 a transaction, and a hard 600-point cycle cap
- Restaurants inside hotels, malls and department stores are excluded — the outlet must be stand-alone
- The ₹499 never waives: Kotak prints NA in both waiver columns
- No fuel surcharge waiver and no railway surcharge waiver — Kotak names this card in both exclusion lists
- No lounge access: Kotak's India lounge programme lists its eligible variants set by set and Feast is in none of them
- Statement credit pays 70 paise a point since 1 June 2025, down from ₹1, with a 2,000-point minimum
- Discontinued for new sourcing — Kotak services existing holders and sells no more
What these points actually fly
No live transfer route takes Kotak Reward Points into a programme that publishes an award chart. These points buy catalogue and portal redemptions, not award seats — so this page has no flight to show you, and will not invent one.

Closed to new applications — existing cardholders keep the card; there is no way in.
You cannot. Kotak's product page carries the disclaimer: "we have discontinued this product for new sourcing, and same is only displayed for existing Feast cardholders". Existing holders keep the card, and it is still priced in the current retail schedule of charges, which is why it is carried here. The card was sold as Trump Gold before the rename — the schedule of charges still footnotes it, "1Trump is now called as Feast."
Kotak Mahindra Bank publishes no income or age cutoffs for this card. Blank means blank — we don't invent numbers to fill a grid.

- 30 Sept 2026Dream Different's unredeemed reward points expire after 30 September 2026Reward points accrued on the Dream Different Credit Card up to 31 March 2026 sitting in the account with no stated expiry date → A hard forfeiture date — "After 30th September, 2026, any unredeemed Reward Points will automatically expire"
The second half of the note that closed the programme is the part holders can still act on. Kotak's cardholder agreement gives every Dream Different point accrued up to 31 March 2026 a six-month redemption window that shuts on 30 September 2026, after which unredeemed points are forfeited outright. At the agreement's own conversion rate of 25 paise per point, a year of the card's headline 4-points-per-₹100 online earn on ₹1 lakh of online spend is roughly 4,000 points, about ₹1,000 — small money, but money that becomes zero on 1 October. Points redeem against the Kotak catalogue (flights, hotels, vouchers, merchandise) or as a statement credit through the rewards portal or the contact centre, each with its own minimum, so a last-week redemption risks missing the date on processing alone.
