Welcome: 12-month EazyDiner Prime membership (₹3,550), 2,000 bonus EazyPoints and a ₹7,500 Postcard Hotel voucher — repeated on every renewal-fee payment

Priced on the everyday mix — 30% groceries · 10% utilities · 20% travel · 6% fuel · 34% everything else — with this card's published category rules applied: it earns nothing on fuel here, so that spend is dropped, not paid at the headline, and stops pacing milestones and the waiver. Plus milestones, minus the fee. No accelerator credit — the ranking model on /compare adds ~20% of spend at the card's best accelerator, so its ₹ for this card reads higher.

Pays for itself at ₹67,000 a month

At ₹67,000 a month — ₹8,04,000 a year — on the everyday mix this card returns ₹3,000 gross (earn ₹3,000) against its ₹2,999 fee = ₹0 net — the first rung at or above ₹0. The ladder runs in ₹1,000 steps to ₹1,00,000 a month and ₹10,000 steps to ₹5,00,000; figures are rounded to the hundred, and the accelerator is never credited.

Why #100 A ₹7,500 Postcard Hotel voucher lands on joining and again on every renewal-fee payment, against a ₹2,999 fee. That is the card, and the value model cannot see it — it prices EazyPoints at ₹0.10 and stops. Ranked on the swipe this sits near the bottom of the board; ranked on a voucher worth two and a half times the fee, every year, it sits here.

The take

The old rule threw this card out for being about restaurants. Look at what it actually pays: ten Reward Points per ₹100 on hotel and travel bookings against four on everything else — a travel accelerator bigger than several travel-first cards on this board carry. Then look at the renewal. Paying the ₹2,999 fee returns a 12-month EazyDiner Prime membership worth ₹3,550, 2,000 bonus EazyPoints and a ₹7,500 stay voucher at The Postcard Hotel — every year, not just at joining. That is ₹11,000 of stated value for ₹2,999, and it is the entire argument for holding this card. The points are not. They are EazyDiner Reward Points, not IndusMoments points, and the difference is the whole ballgame: the bank's own terms say they can only be redeemed in the EazyDiner app, cannot be redeemed against cash credit, and expire at the end of every anniversary year. There is no KrisFlyer here, no Maharaja Club, no transfer of any kind. IndusInd's own worked example values one at ₹0.10, so ten per ₹100 is 1% back, not the 8% the raw number suggests. There is also no lounge — the MITC states plainly that Priority Pass is not available on this card — and the foreign markup is the full 3.5%. Hold it for the hotel voucher and the dining discounts, and put your flights on something else.

The downgrade

IndusInd Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and the numbers above are the whole of it.

What has changed under this card

  • 15 Jun 2026 IndusInd doubles its DCC fee to 2% on the mass shelf, and holds 1% on the premium one issuer-wide
  • 25 Mar 2025 IndusInd hikes redemption fee to ₹149, caps cash-outs at 50% issuer-wide

We price what is in force today — a change that has not happened yet is not in these numbers. the full archive for this card →

If you call to cancel

What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →

The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.

What's good

  • 10 Reward Points per ₹100 on hotel and travel bookings, against 4 per ₹100 on general spend
  • ₹7,500 Postcard Hotel stay voucher — released on joining AND on every renewal-fee payment
  • 12-month EazyDiner Prime membership worth ₹3,550, renewed each year the fee is paid
  • An extra 25% off up to ₹1,000 a bill when you pay through the EazyDiner app, capped ₹2,000 a month, ₹5,000 with ₹30,000 of prior-month non-dining spend
  • A complimentary premium alcoholic beverage for every diner at 200+ restaurants

Watch out

  • No lounge access at all — the MITC says Priority Pass is not available on EazyDiner Signature, and the card is absent from IndusInd's domestic lounge programme
  • Points reach no airline and no hotel programme: EazyDiner Reward Points redeem only in the EazyDiner app and cannot be taken as cash credit
  • Points expire at the completion of every anniversary year — the balance does not roll
  • Reward Points are earned only on spends up to your assigned credit limit in each statement cycle; anything above it earns nothing
  • 3.5% foreign-currency markup, and no fee waiver at any spend
  • Fuel and dining spends earn no Reward Points — dining pays you back through the Prime discount instead

What these points actually fly

No live transfer route takes EazyDiner Reward Points into a programme that publishes an award chart. These points buy catalogue and portal redemptions, not award seats — so this page has no flight to show you, and will not invent one.

What earns, what doesn't

2 sourced rules · 2 pay zero

This card earns EazyDiner Reward Points on its own co-brand programme, not IndusInd Reward Points, and it is absent from IndusInd's rewards-revision table altogether — so the 0.70-per-₹100 cut that governs the rest of the shelf simply does not reach it, and no utility, insurance, government or education treatment is published. Those answer "not published" here rather than being inferred from a sibling.

Fuel excluded — "Earn 4 Reward Points on every Rs 100 spent on all other spends (Except fuel and dining)" — fuel earns nothing, and dining pays through the EazyDiner Prime discount instead; 1% fee on cumulative fuel above ₹50,000 a statement cycle from 15-Jun-2026

Government / tax not applicable
Insurance not applicable
Education not applicable
Wallet loads not applicable
Groceries & supermarkets not applicable
Dining & food delivery excluded — Dining earns NO Reward Points at all — the card's own earn table puts fuel and dining outside the co-brand's accrual, which is the fact a card called EazyDiner most needs said out loud. What a restaurant bill pays back here is a DISCOUNT, not a rate — an extra 25% off up to ₹1,000 a bill when you pay through the EazyDiner app, capped at ₹2,000 a month (₹5,000 with ₹30,000 of prior-month non-dining spend) — plus EazyDiner Prime and a complimentary premium alcoholic beverage for every diner at 200+ restaurants

What the MITC actually says — the rates, fees and cutoffs the brochure skips.

Cash advance 2.5% of the advance, min ₹300
Add-on card Nil
Overlimit 2.5% of the over-limit amount, min ₹500
Redemption fee not published

₹2,999 + GST a year with NO waiver condition — the MITC's waiver column reads NA — add-on free. The joining and annual columns carry the same number and IndusInd charges its annual fee "at the end of 12 months from the card issue date", so the two never fall in the same year. The same document is explicit that Priority Pass is NOT available on this card, so it carries no international lounge access, and it is absent from the domestic lounge eligibility grid too. Earn is 10 Reward Points per ₹100 on hotel and travel booking, shopping and entertainment, 4 per ₹100 on everything else except fuel and dining, and only on spends up to the assigned credit limit each statement cycle. The dynamic-currency-conversion fee is 1% here rather than the 2% most of the shelf pays and the third-party rent fee does not apply; the 1% fuel-transaction fee bites above ₹50,000 in a statement cycle.

Pioneer Legacy's quarterly lounge visit now costs ₹1.5 lakh of spend
1 complimentary domestic lounge visit a quarter, no spend condition → From the Jul–Sep 2026 quarter, the visit unlocks only on ₹1,50,000 of previous-quarter spend

The spend-tracking regime IndusInd switched on in April now bites: from the July–September 2026 quarter, Pioneer Legacy's single complimentary domestic lounge visit is granted only if you put ₹1.5 lakh through the card the quarter before. Legacy sits in the same ₹1.5L tier as Pinnacle; Indulge, Solitaire and Crest need ₹5 lakh for theirs. The gate covers the domestic visit — the Priority Pass international allowance isn't part of this condition. On a private-banking card with a ₹50,000 retail joining fee, spend-gating one lounge visit a quarter is a remarkably small door to put a toll on, and IndusInd did it anyway.

A year after halving Legend's lounge visits, IndusInd came back and took the rest.
