The take

Vantage is DBS India's metal flagship: unlimited domestic and international lounge access, a 1.75% forex markup and a genuinely useful ₹1-per-point currency you redeem for flights and hotels on DBS Delights. The problem for a points-and-miles reader is the ceiling — Vantage Points don't transfer to a single airline or hotel program, so there's no sweet-spot upside, just a flat 2% on domestic spend and 4% abroad. The milestone ladder (10,000 points at ₹5L a quarter, 40,000 at ₹20L a year) rewards heavy spenders, but a ₹50,000 fee against a hard 2% cap is a steep ask unless you clear the ₹10L waiver and lean on the lounges. It's invite-only, and increasingly a lounge-and-forex card rather than a rewards one.

What's good

  • Unlimited domestic + international lounge access (primary cardholder)
  • 1 Vantage Point = ₹1 flat on DBS Delights travel — no devaluation risk, no transfer gymnastics
  • Milestone points: 10,000 VP at ₹5L/quarter, 40,000 VP at ₹20L/year
  • Fee waiver at ₹10L annual spend; 1.75% forex (zero on Singapore spends)

Watch out

  • Vantage Points are non-transferable — no airline/hotel partners, so no premium-cabin upside
  • ₹50,000 fee against a flat 2% domestic / 4% international earn cap
  • Invite-only; lounge and milestone benefits exclude add-on cardholders
  • Only worth the fee at ₹10L+ spend (waiver) plus heavy lounge use
