Priced on the everyday mix — 30% groceries · 10% utilities · 20% travel · 6% fuel · 34% everything else — with this card's published category rules applied. Plus milestones, minus the fee. No accelerator credit — the ranking model on /compare adds ~20% of spend at the card's best accelerator, so its ₹ for this card reads higher.

Pays for itself at ₹19,000 a month

At ₹19,000 a month — ₹2,28,000 a year — on the everyday mix this card returns ₹2,100 gross (earn ₹2,100) against its ₹2,000 fee = ₹100 net — the first rung at or above ₹0. The ladder runs in ₹1,000 steps to ₹1,00,000 a month and ₹10,000 steps to ₹5,00,000; figures are rounded to the hundred, and the accelerator is never credited.

2 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · why it ranks #1077

RBL Bank · Not published · premium

Why #1077 A health co-brand that paid in Practo scrip, and the scrip is now priced: 1 HealthCash per ₹100 at ₹0.90 on a ₹1.00 peg is 0.9% back, all of it spendable on consultations and lab tests and nothing else. Ranked below every live card — Practo's own page has served a Not Found body since at least January 2023.

₹0 + GST

A HealthCash is pegged to the rupee and priced below it. Practo's own page prints "1 HealthCash = 1 Rupee", so ₹1.00 is a hard ceiling with nothing above it — no catalogue premium, no airline, no hotel, no transfer of any kind. This desk marks ₹0.90 because the credit is not money: it lands on a Practo account rather than the card statement and spends only inside Practo's own health catalogue. That is the same 10% haircut `sbi-apollo-health-credits` takes, and for the same reason.

The take

RBL and Practo built the only Indian credit card whose reward currency was medical care. Every ₹100 charged anywhere earned 1 Practo HealthCash, HealthCash was pegged one-to-one to the rupee, and it credited automatically to your Practo account each month — where it could be spent on consultations, diagnostics and the rest of Practo's catalogue and nowhere else. On top of that the card opened with a free full-body health check-up and a year of unlimited 24×7 chat consultations for the whole family, and it carried two domestic lounge visits a quarter, which is a genuinely competitive eight-a-year at a ₹2,000 renewal fee that only starts in year two. What the earn was WORTH is the part that takes a judgement, and here is ours: a rupee of closed-loop health scrip is not a rupee, so we price a HealthCash at ₹0.90 against its own ₹1.00 peg — the same 10% we take off the only comparable currency on this board — which makes the card 0.9% back on everything, spendable on doctors and lab tests and nowhere else. At a ₹2,000 renewal that is ₹2,22,000 of spend a year just to break even on the fee, before you have used a single lounge. The other thing worth knowing is where the evidence lives. RBL never published this card — not a product page, not a fee row, not a line in any Schedule of Charges of any vintage. Practo did, on its own domain, and that page is the entire documentary record of a card RBL's own estate has never admitted existed.

The downgrade

RBL Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and the numbers above are the whole of it.

What has changed under this card

  • 7 Jan 2026 RBL bolts a 1% fee onto FASTag loads and tolls — the fifth 1% line on its charge sheet issuer-wide
  • 1 Jul 2025 RBL gates domestic lounges behind ₹35k a quarter issuer-wide
  • 15 Oct 2024 RBL strips points from education, government and wallet spends issuer-wide

We price what is in force today — a change that has not happened yet is not in these numbers. the full archive for this card →

If you call to cancel

What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →

The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.

What's good

  • 1 Practo HealthCash per ₹100 on every transaction, domestic and international — Practo's page states the rate and the peg, "1 HealthCash = 1 Rupee"
  • HealthCash credited automatically to your Practo account every month, redeemable across Practo's services
  • A free full-body health check-up on joining, plus a year of unlimited 24×7 chat consultations for you and your family
  • Two complimentary domestic airport lounge visits every quarter
  • Free to get — Practo's 2021 page prints "Joining Fees: FREE" — with the ₹2,000 charge falling at renewal

Watch out

  • WITHDRAWN — Practo's own page has returned a Not Found body since at least January 2023 and still does today; RBL's live Schedule of Charges names sixty variants and no Practo row
  • HealthCash is closed-loop scrip, and we price it 10% under its own ₹1.00 peg — the credit lands on a Practo account, not on your card statement, and buys consultations and diagnostics, never cash, statement credit or a transfer to any airline or hotel
  • 0.9% back means ₹2,22,000 of spend in a year just to cover the ₹2,000 renewal fee, and no waiver is published anywhere
  • RBL BANK NEVER PUBLISHED THIS CARD. No product page on either RBL domain in any capture, no fee row in any Schedule of Charges, and the live path 404s exactly as an invented slug does
  • The lounge quota is Practo's number, not an RBL lounge list — no operator and no rooms are named anywhere, so this desk maps no specific door for it
  • RBL charges 1% on FIVE transaction types its Schedule of Charges lists separately from the reward exclusions: rent (MCC 6513, on every transaction), fuel and auto above ₹10,000 a transaction (capped at ₹3,000), utility spends above ₹50,000 a month, education paid through third-party apps such as CRED, PhonePe or Paytm (school and college websites are exempt), and — with effect from 7 January 2026 — FASTag loading and tolls above ₹10,000 a transaction. These are FEES, listed nowhere near the reward exclusions: a category can both cost you 1% and earn you nothing

What these points actually fly

No live transfer route takes Practo HealthCash into a programme that publishes an award chart. These points buy catalogue and portal redemptions, not award seats — so this page has no flight to show you, and will not invent one.

RBL relaunches the Shoppers Stop co-brand as a Gold / Platinum / Black trio
An older single Shoppers Stop co-brand line → Three tiers — Gold (₹1,000), Platinum (₹5,000), Black (₹10,000) annual — earning 10 RP/₹200 (Gold, Platinum) or 15 RP/₹200 (Black) across the Shoppers Stop Universe, with points worth ₹0.25 / ₹0.50 / ₹1.00 respectively

RBL rebuilt its Shoppers Stop co-brand into a three-card ladder. The fee rung buys a richer point, not just more of them: a Reward Point is worth ₹0.25 on Gold, ₹0.50 on Platinum and ₹1.00 on Black, so Black's 15 RP per ₹200 at ₹1 a point is a genuine 7.5% back on First Citizen days inside the Shoppers Stop Universe. Welcome vouchers scale the same way (₹500 quarterly on Gold, ₹2,000 plus Platinum membership and a makeover on Platinum, ₹1,500 quarterly on Black). No lounge access on any of the three — these are store cards and earn like it, with value only inside Shoppers Stop. All three are already on our board.
