Ahmedabad (AMD) airport lounges — which credit card
gets you in
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport runs 4 lounges we can put a source under. 78 of the 107 cards we track open at least
one of those doors
— 44 of them only if you clear a spend or tier gate.
Below: every door with its terminal, hours, stay cap, guest fee and the exact cards that walk
in. No "check with your bank".

Which card gets you in
Lounge access is not one thing — it is 7 different machines at this airport, and your card is on some of them and not others. Each block below is one
machine: the doors it opens here, and every tracked card that carries it. A card in more than
one block gets in more than one way.
Priority Pass
3 of 4 doors · 55 cards
A membership your card carries. The kit arrives by post, the door reads the membership — not the card.
The lounge admits the card itself, on the issuer’s own list. No network in between — shortest list, most reliable swipe. No card "carries" this the way it carries Priority Pass — the issuer
publishes a list and the door reads the card, so we only claim it where an issuer names a
card we track.
° The access is spend- or tier-gated: hover the card, or open its page for the exact
trigger. A gate you miss is a door that does not open, whatever the brochure said.
Every lounge at AMD, door by door
Terminal, side of security, operator, hours, stay cap, guest fee, walk-in price — and the
cards that walk in. Each door carries the document we read it from.
Premium tier — no card NETWORK gets you in free, but ICICI's consolidated July-2026 list grants 8 tracked ICICI cards ('Adani lounge Premium Loyalty, near gate no. 1'); business class, Pranaam-Elite and LoungeOne walk-ins otherwise; round-the-clock per Adani with the same Wednesday 11:00–13:30 maintenance shutdown as The Lounge; entry from 2h before departure. RE-RULED 2026-08-01 against the re-pointed July-2026 ICICI PDF — STILL LISTED, row 4, "Adani lounge - Premium Loyalty / Terminal 1 / Domestic", address "Domestic Departures, After Security, 1st Floor, near gate no. 1, Ahmedabad". Unasterisked, so the full Annexure-1 eligible-card list gets it and all 8 slugs above are on that annexure; 3-hour cap and a ₹2 (₹1 AmEx) door authorisation per Annexure 1's terms. Do not confuse it with row 5, the separate T2-domestic Adani Lounge.
Amex files this as 'The Lounge (Adani Lounge)' and its own directions — 'International Terminal 2. After Security Hold area, 1st Floor, opposite Gate 3' — match this room exactly; Platinum Reserve's list marks it Available, Platinum Travel's marks it 'Not Available', so Travel pays. Air India/AI Express move to T2 from 29 Mar 2026 — expect crowding. Visa's mid-2026 list adds a T2 domestic-side code ('Adani Lounge', AMD04), but Adani's own lounge page still shows no separate T2 domestic room (checked Aug 2026) — assume this door serves AI's domestic flyers until the operator says otherwise.
3 doors here publish a
walk-in price. Pay it and you are in, card or no card — the prices are the operators' own
published rates, and desks quote higher at peak. Everything else at AMD is
cards-and-invites only.
The LoungeT1 — Domestic (first floor, post-SHA, opposite Gate 4)₹1,650
Adani LoungeT1 — Domestic (first floor, near Gate 1)₹2,800
The LoungeT2 — International (post-SHA, opposite Gate 3)₹2,800
Worth doing the arithmetic before you swipe: a ₹3,000 walk-in is a bad trade against a card
whose whole annual fee buys a season of visits — that comparison is exactly what
the lounge-card ranking computes.
This is one airport out of 119 with a page of its own — the full
map, every airport and every railway lounge we hold, is on
the lounge map.
