What it's worth to you, after the fee

Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes a fee schedule AND an earn table — we have neither number, so there is nothing to net off against nothing. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until IndusInd Bank publishes terms we can cite.

Why #463 A business card carried, not ranked. What it is: the Visa half of IndusInd's corporate pair — one Visa lounge visit a calendar quarter, against the eight-plus-two its RuPay eSvarna sibling grants for the same unpublished price.

The take

The Contactless Corporate Card is the Visa half of IndusInd's corporate pair, and on the one thing that matters here it is the weaker half. Its free lounge quota is one Visa lounge visit a calendar quarter inside India — four a year — against the eight domestic plus two international its RuPay eSvarna sibling grants for the same unpublished price. The Priority Pass on the page is the trap: IndusInd offers it as something "the company can opt to provide their employees", reaching "over 700 Airport Lounges worldwide", and its own MITC then prices what a visit actually costs — up to US$27 per person per visit. That is a membership, not an entitlement, and it opens no free door. What the card does well is the corporate plumbing: one credit limit issued to the company and bifurcated across employee cards, consolidated payment, e-statements, a fourth embossing line for the company name and a named relationship manager. The price is not published — the annual fee is waived outright and the onboarding charge is a negotiated band — and there is no cardholder reward rate at all, because the incentive accrues to the company at a rate set in its sanction letter. Forex is 3.50%, the Indian norm.

Keep, downgrade or cancel

what we can and cannot price

Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes a fee schedule AND an earn table — we have neither number, so there is nothing to net off against nothing. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade

IndusInd Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.

What has changed under this card

  • 15 Jun 2026 IndusInd doubles its DCC fee to 2% on the mass shelf, and holds 1% on the premium one issuer-wide
  • 25 Mar 2025 IndusInd hikes redemption fee to ₹149, caps cash-outs at 50% issuer-wide

We price what is in force today — a change that has not happened yet is not in these numbers. the full archive for this card →

If you call to cancel

What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →

The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.

What's good

  • 1 complimentary Visa lounge visit per calendar quarter, at select premium Visa lounges in India
  • The annual fee is waived outright in IndusInd's own commercial-cards MITC
  • One credit limit issued to the company, bifurcated across employee cards under its own policy
  • 1% fuel surcharge waiver, consolidated payment, e-statements and a fourth embossing line for the company name
  • A designated commercial-cards relationship manager rather than a call-centre queue

Watch out

  • The Priority Pass is a MEMBERSHIP the company opts into, not free visits — IndusInd's MITC prices a visit at up to US$27 per person
  • One lounge visit a quarter against the eight domestic and two international its eSvarna sibling grants
  • IndusInd's commercial MITC prints the annual fee as "Waived" and the joining fee as a negotiated ₹0–₹10,000 band — so renewing the card may cost nothing while being issued it can cost up to ₹10,000, and only your company's sanction letter says which
  • There is no cardholder reward rate: the incentive is paid to the COMPANY, against a monthly invoice
  • 3.50% forex markup — the Indian norm, with a further 1% on dynamic currency conversion
  • Late payment runs up to 3% of the total outstanding a month — 36% a year — and every card issued to the company is blocked if one statement goes unpaid

What these points actually fly

IndusInd Bank has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

Pioneer Legacy's quarterly lounge visit now costs ₹1.5 lakh of spend
1 complimentary domestic lounge visit a quarter, no spend condition → From the Jul–Sep 2026 quarter, the visit unlocks only on ₹1,50,000 of previous-quarter spend

The spend-tracking regime IndusInd switched on in April now bites: from the July–September 2026 quarter, Pioneer Legacy's single complimentary domestic lounge visit is granted only if you put ₹1.5 lakh through the card the quarter before. Legacy sits in the same ₹1.5L tier as Pinnacle; Indulge, Solitaire and Crest need ₹5 lakh for theirs. The gate covers the domestic visit — the Priority Pass international allowance isn't part of this condition. On a private-banking card with a ₹50,000 retail joining fee, spend-gating one lounge visit a quarter is a remarkably small door to put a toll on, and IndusInd did it anyway.

A year after halving Legend's lounge visits, IndusInd came back and took the rest. From 7 March 2025 the card offers no complimentary lounge access, domestic or otherwise — on a product still marketed with a ₹5,000 joining fee. The lifetime-free Legend crowd shrugs; anyone who paid for this card on the strength of its airport perks got a two-step lesson in how IndusInd sunsets a benefit.
