What it's worth to you, after the fee
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until Bank of India publishes terms we can cite.
Why we decline to value some cards, and what it takes to change that →
3 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · the network variants · why it ranks #660
Why #660 Carried, not valued. Eight domestic lounge visits, two international ones and an Amazon Prime membership for ₹800 — and a reward multiplier Bank of India has never attached a base rate or a point value to.
The take
This is a card that is easy to overlook, and it is better than most of what sits above it at the price. Bank of India charges nothing to issue it and ₹800 a year to keep it, and in return the RuPay Select programme opens eight domestic airport lounges a year — two a quarter — plus two international visits. At ₹800 that is the cheapest real domestic-plus- international lounge quota on this board, and it arrives with a complimentary annual Amazon Prime membership, a three-month Swiggy One plan, a ₹200 BigBasket voucher every month, ₹250 off two BookMyShow tickets every month, an annual health checkup and ₹10 lakh of personal- accident and permanent-disability cover from NPCI. Twenty-four-hour concierge too. The catch is the loyalty side: BOI advertises "2X Reward points" and never publishes what one point is worth or what the base accrual is, so there is nothing here this desk can price. Buy it for the door, not the points — and know that the lounge benefit is RuPay's, revised at NPCI's discretion, not a contract with Bank of India.

Keep, downgrade or cancel
what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.
Your copy of this card
You hold this card.
Kept on this device, in your browser. It is never sent to us, never synced, and nothing else on the site reads it yet.
The downgrade
Bank of India publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.
If you call to cancel
What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- Eight domestic lounge visits a year — two a quarter — plus two international visits, for ₹800 and nothing to join
- Complimentary annual Amazon Prime membership, and a three-month Swiggy One plan every year
- ₹200 off BigBasket every month and ₹250 off two BookMyShow tickets every month
- ₹10 lakh of personal-accident and permanent-disability cover from NPCI, plus an annual health-checkup package
- 24×7 concierge, and BOI's foreign-currency conversion charge is 3% — half a point under the 3.5% most Indian issuers charge
Watch out
- The lounge quota is RuPay's, not Bank of India's — BOI's own page says it is "subject to change as per RuPay's discretion from time to time without any prior notice"
- Bank of India publishes no base earn rate and no redemption value for its reward points, so the loyalty side cannot be valued, ranked or compared
- There is no spend-based fee waiver: the ₹800 is charged every year regardless
- Cash withdrawal is capped at ₹15,000 a day and the cash limit at 50% of the spending limit
- The bank's live site sits behind a bot challenge that blocks every automated reader, so these terms were verified against the Internet Archive's copy
What these points actually fly
Bank of India has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

The fine print
5 of 7 MITC rows published
What the MITC actually says — the rates, fees and cutoffs the brochure skips.
Fee comes from the PRODUCT PAGE, not this schedule — Annexure VII carries no RuPay Select row: "Issuance- NIL / AMC - Rs. 800/- (Principal) / AMC - Rs. 600/- (Add on card) / Replacement - Rs. 500/-". Lounge 8 domestic a year (2 a quarter) plus 2 international, and BOI says plainly it is RuPay's to change "at RuPay's discretion from time to time without any prior notice". Complimentary annual Amazon Prime; 3-month Swiggy One a year; ₹200 BigBasket voucher a month; ₹250 off 2 BookMyShow tickets a month; annual health checkup; ₹10 lakh NPCI personal-accident and permanent-disability cover; 24×7 concierge. Billing 16th to 15th, payment by the 5th. ATM cash ₹15,000/day, cash limit 50% of the spending limit.
