What it's worth to you, after the fee
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until Bank of India publishes terms we can cite.
Why we decline to value some cards, and what it takes to change that →
3 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · the network variants · why it ranks #661
Why #661 Six lounge visits a year for ₹400 and nothing to join — the cheapest airport door on the board, from an issuer that publishes no reward rate to go with it.
The take
Bank of India's Bharat Platinum is the RuPay Select's cheaper sibling and it is quietly the lowest price of admission to an airport lounge on this board: nothing to join, ₹400 a year, and four domestic lounge visits — one a quarter — plus two international ones, one every six months. Around that sit a ₹250 Amazon or Flipkart voucher each quarter, a ₹250 BigBasket or Blinkit voucher each quarter, ₹250 off two BookMyShow tickets each quarter, a three-month Swiggy Lite plan a year, ₹2 lakh of NPCI personal-accident and permanent-disability cover renewed annually, and 24-hour concierge. The vouchers alone outrun the fee. What you cannot do is value the points: BOI publishes "Loyalty Rewards 2X" and never says two times what, or what a point is worth. Take it as a cheap lounge card with a voucher book attached, and read the bank's own warning that the feature list is "subject to revise".

Keep, downgrade or cancel
what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.
Your copy of this card
You hold this card.
Kept on this device, in your browser. It is never sent to us, never synced, and nothing else on the site reads it yet.
The downgrade
Bank of India publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.
If you call to cancel
What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- Four domestic lounge visits a year, one a quarter, plus two international visits — for ₹400 and nothing to join
- ₹250 Amazon or Flipkart voucher and a ₹250 BigBasket or Blinkit voucher every quarter, plus ₹250 off two BookMyShow tickets a quarter
- A three-month Swiggy Lite plan every year and 24×7 concierge
- ₹2 lakh of personal-accident and permanent-disability cover from NPCI, renewed yearly
- Bank of India's foreign-currency conversion charge is 3%, under the 3.5% most Indian issuers charge
Watch out
- Bank of India warns on the page itself that the features and offers "are subject to revise" and that changes arrive by SMS and e-mail
- No base earn rate and no point value are published anywhere, so the reward side cannot be valued, ranked or compared
- No spend-based fee waiver — the ₹400 is charged every year, exclusive of GST
- BOI publishes no fuel-surcharge waiver at all; its own schedule charges 1% on fuel transactions
- The bank's live site is behind a bot challenge that blocks automated readers, so these terms were verified against the Internet Archive's copy
What these points actually fly
Bank of India has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.
