Guwahati (GAU) airport lounges — which credit card
gets you in
Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport runs 2 lounges we can put a source under. 89 of the 107 cards we track open at least
one of those doors
— 56 of them only if you clear a spend or tier gate.
Below: every door with its terminal, hours, stay cap, guest fee and the exact cards that walk
in. No "check with your bank".

Which card gets you in
Lounge access is not one thing — it is 5 different machines at this airport, and your card is on some of them and not others. Each block below is one
machine: the doors it opens here, and every tracked card that carries it. A card in more than
one block gets in more than one way.
Priority Pass
1 of 2 doors · 55 cards
A membership your card carries. The kit arrives by post, the door reads the membership — not the card.
The lounge admits the card itself, on the issuer’s own list. No network in between — shortest list, most reliable swipe. No card "carries" this the way it carries Priority Pass — the issuer
publishes a list and the door reads the card, so we only claim it where an issuer names a
card we track.
Issuer-list rooms here: The Lounge 1 · The Lounge 2
No issuer names a card we track on these doors. The tie-up is real — it just isn't one
of ours, so we claim nothing. Whatever gets you into these rooms is in the block above.
° The access is spend- or tier-gated: hover the card, or open its page for the exact
trigger. A gate you miss is a door that does not open, whatever the brochure said.
Every lounge at GAU, door by door
Terminal, side of security, operator, hours, stay cap, guest fee, walk-in price — and the
cards that walk in. Each door carries the document we read it from.
Grade B — Adequate buffet-and-wifi standard; unrated
Operator (Adani) page explicitly confirms 'Open 24 Hours' for both GAU lounges while Priority Pass caps its entry window at 05:00–22:00 (GAU3) — both are true; outside 05:00–22:00 you need walk-in/LoungeOne, not PP. The old Primus Lounge is delisted from PP though Mastercard's 41-lounge India PDF still carries the stale Primus row (re-checked Jul 2026). New T2 took Akasa, SpiceJet, Alliance, AI/AIX and all international flights between Feb and Mar 2026 — but IndiGo, GAU's biggest domestic operator, still flies from T1, so this door still matters.
Ground-floor sibling in the old Primus footprint; operator-run 24h. Visa's mid-2026 domestic list carries BOTH GAU rooms (GAU01 ground / GAU02 first floor) — claim verified against the PDF itself, Jul 2026. The reported Adani flagship lounge in new T2 ('Bamboo Orchids', open since 22 Feb 2026) is still on no operator lounge page and no network directory (Adani's GAU page re-checked 22 Jul 2026 — T1 rooms only) — we'll add that door when one actually opens.
Not one door at GAU publishes a walk-in price. That is not the same as "you cannot pay" —
most desks will sell you an entry — it means no rate we can source, so we quote none. If a
card below doesn't open the door, budget for a desk quote in local currency.
Worth doing the arithmetic before you swipe: a ₹3,000 walk-in is a bad trade against a card
whose whole annual fee buys a season of visits — that comparison is exactly what
the lounge-card ranking computes.
This is one airport out of 119 with a page of its own — the full
map, every airport and every railway lounge we hold, is on
the lounge map.
