What it's worth to you, after the fee
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until SBI Card publishes terms we can cite.

3 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · the network variants · why it ranks #454
Why #454 A business card carried, not ranked. What it is: SBI's corporate charge card for people who actually fly — ₹1 crore of air accident cover, two Visa lounge visits a quarter, and a Priority Pass whose every single visit costs twenty-seven dollars.
The take
Signature Corporate is the top of SBI's corporate charge-card range, and it is a travel card in the insurance sense rather than the rewards sense. Buy the ticket on it and air accidental death is covered to ₹1 crore; baggage loss runs to ₹75,000, flight delay to ₹15,000, a lost passport abroad to ₹12,500, and lost-card liability to ₹3 lakh with a further ₹2 lakh of counterfeit and skimming cover. At the corporate level the fraud cover reaches ₹60 lakh across the entity. The lounge story needs reading twice, because SBI advertises two programmes and only one of them is free. The Priority Pass membership is complimentary on this card and opens over 600 international lounges — and SBI's own schedule says every one of those visits, "within and outside India", costs $27 plus taxes, guests included. What is actually complimentary is the Visa Lounge Access Program: two visits a quarter at participating Indian airports, on presentation of the card and a boarding pass. Everything else is corporate rail — category and limit controls, Visa Intellilink spend analysis, entity-level statements broken down by merchant category, emergency cash within 24 hours and a replacement card anywhere in the world inside 72 hours. It is a charge card: the full balance settles every cycle, there is no revolve, and SBI publishes no accrual rate for its corporate book at all, so what the points are worth is a question the bank does not answer.

what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade
SBI Card publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.

What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- ₹1 crore of air accidental death cover when the ticket is bought on the card
- 2 complimentary Visa lounge visits a quarter at participating Indian airports
- Baggage loss to ₹75,000, flight delay to ₹15,000, lost passport abroad to ₹12,500
- Complimentary Priority Pass membership — no annual charge, unlike the Platinum's ₹180
- Emergency cash within 24 hours and a replacement card anywhere in the world within 72 hours
Watch out
- The Priority Pass opens no free door: SBI charges $27 plus taxes for every visit inside and outside India, guests too
- SBI publishes no accrual rate for its corporate book — only an annual reward fee of up to ₹300 and a ₹99 redemption fee
- The ₹499 is disputed by SBI's own documents: the product page says "Upto", and clause 1.A of the MITC prices a generic corporate card at NIL while saying fees vary per corporate
- A charge card — the whole balance settles each cycle, and unpaid dues cost up to 3.35% a month
- Forex markup is published as a ceiling, "Upto 3.5%", so it clears no low-markup test
What these points actually fly
SBI Card has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

- 3 Aug 2026SBI drops Etihad Guest from the MILES transfer table — the last SBI door into the programmeSBI Card Travel Credits transferred 1:1 into Etihad Guest, one of eighteen airline partners in §3 of the MILES rewards T&C. At the ₹1/partner-mile anchor that was a full-value exit, and it was the only route left after the two Etihad Guest SBI co-brands were retired. → No Etihad route at all. The MILES rewards T&C now lists seventeen airline partners and Etihad is not one of them — the word does not appear anywhere in the seven-page document. Every other SBI partner survives at the same ratio.
SBI Card's own MILES rewards T&C, re-fetched on 22 August 2026 and carrying a 3 August 2026 ModDate inside the PDF, has one fewer airline in it than the edition this desk read on 2 August. The deletion is provable from the numbering rather than from absence alone: the table's first seven rows are unchanged (Air Canada 3, Air France-KLM 4, Air India 5, British Airways 6, Cathay 7), and every row from position eight onward has moved up exactly one — Thai from 14 to 13, Qantas from 17 to 16. Position eight was Etihad Airways / Etihad Guest / 1:1. All twenty-four other partners we carry, airline and hotel, are still there at the same ratios, so this is Etihad being dropped and not SBI narrowing transfers. The timing matters more than the ratio. SBI phased out the Etihad Guest SBI and Etihad Guest SBI Premier cards from December 2025 and reissued holders onto MILES products, and the transfer route was what made that migration survivable — a Premier holder who had spent six years earning Etihad miles could keep feeding the same account through Travel Credits. That is now closed, and India's remaining pipes into Etihad Guest run through BOBCARD's Etihad co-brands, not through SBI. If you hold SBI Travel Credits earmarked for an Abu Dhabi business seat, they are Aeroplan, Flying Blue, Avios or Maharaja points now. ON THE DATE: SBI publishes no notice and no cut-off. The date here is the day the desk read the change out of SBI's own document; the PDF's internal ModDate puts the edition at 3 August 2026, which is the earliest day we can prove, not an announcement.
