US-issued Platinum: US$50/guest unless US$75k annual spend; India-issued Platinum: 1 guest free (CUT from 2 on 8 Jul 2026), and the guest must be on the Card Member's own flight.
T1's independent contract lounge on Priority Pass — open to midnight, so it covers the late Gulf and European banks when the airline rooms have closed to PP.
Grade B — Turkish catering on a contract-lounge pass
Turkish's T1 lounge takes Priority Pass through the day — the best food of the T1 PP set when it isn't rationing entry around its own Istanbul departures.
PP rest-suite door in T4 — one private suite for a 1-hour nap, up to three guests in the same suite at no extra charge; beyond the hour it's US$40 each, billed in 15-minute steps. The only Priority Pass option in T4 that isn't rationed or shut by lunchtime.
Grade C — Rest-suite kind; T8 has no other card door
T8 is American and British Airways territory and has no card lounge at all — this rest suite is the only Priority Pass door on that side of JFK. One hour on the visit, US$40 an hour after, up to three guests in the suite free.
Not one door at JFK publishes a walk-in price. That is not the same as "you cannot pay" —
most desks will sell you an entry — it means no rate we can source, so we quote none. If a
card below doesn't open the door, budget for a desk quote in local currency.
Worth doing the arithmetic before you swipe: a ₹3,000 walk-in is a bad trade against a card
whose whole annual fee buys a season of visits — that comparison is exactly what
the lounge-card ranking computes.
