Nairobi (NBO) airport lounges — which credit card
gets you in
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport runs 5 lounges we can put a source under. 55 of the 107 cards we track open at least
one of those doors
— 30 of them only if you clear a spend or tier gate.
Below: every door with its terminal, hours, stay cap, guest fee and the exact cards that walk
in. No "check with your bank".

Which card gets you in
Lounge access is not one thing — it is 1 different machine at this airport, and your card is on some of them and not others. Each block below is one
machine: the doors it opens here, and every tracked card that carries it. A card in more than
one block gets in more than one way.
Priority Pass
5 of 5 doors · 55 cards
A membership your card carries. The kit arrives by post, the door reads the membership — not the card.
Opens: Plaza Premium Lounge · Aspire Nairobi · Turkish Airlines Star Alliance Lounge · Mount Kenya Lounge · Mara Lounge
° The access is spend- or tier-gated: hover the card, or open its page for the exact
trigger. A gate you miss is a door that does not open, whatever the brochure said.
Every lounge at NBO, door by door
Terminal, side of security, operator, hours, stay cap, guest fee, walk-in price — and the
cards that walk in. Each door carries the document we read it from.
A Plaza Premium Lounge
Terminal 1D — Level 2 near Gate 4, after security; international only
Grade A — 4.5/5 — the best room at NBO by a distance
NBO is the safari-traffic hub with Kenya Airways' Mumbai nonstop — this is its best lounge, 24/7 with unlimited guests and a prayer room, but only a 2-hour cap.
Not one door at NBO publishes a walk-in price. That is not the same as "you cannot pay" —
most desks will sell you an entry — it means no rate we can source, so we quote none. If a
card below doesn't open the door, budget for a desk quote in local currency.
Worth doing the arithmetic before you swipe: a ₹3,000 walk-in is a bad trade against a card
whose whole annual fee buys a season of visits — that comparison is exactly what
the lounge-card ranking computes.
This is one airport out of 119 with a page of its own — the full
map, every airport and every railway lounge we hold, is on
the lounge map.
