Every lounge at HKG, door by door
Terminal, side of security, operator, hours, stay cap, guest fee, walk-in price — and the
cards that walk in. Each door carries the document we read it from.
The former Chase Sapphire Lounge, rebranded Kyra and folded into Priority Pass — arguably the best contract lounge at HKG (Highly Commended, PP Lounge of the Year 2026, Asia); 3h cap, entry from 3h before departure.
The second Kyra, opened 10 Jan 2026 — 1,200 sq m and 230 seats deep in the West Hall; newer but rating below its Gate 23 sibling (4.2 vs 4.6), so trek over only if your gate is nearby.
No longer the overnight room — PP now lists it 06:00–01:00 with a 2h cap; the Gate 60 and Gate 1 Plaza Premiums took over the 24/7 duty. Above-average hot food and reliable showers remain.
The third Plaza Premium, right by the Gate 1 end — also 24/7 with a 2h cap; the weakest-rated of the trio but the closest lounge if you board at the low-numbered gates.
Grade A — Standout bar and Champagne; Centurion standard
Proper Centurion standard — standout cocktail bar, Champagne, strong buffet; Amex Platinum/Centurion cards only (Indian Amex Plat qualifies), no walk-in, open 07:00-24:00.
Grade A — 4.7/5 — the best use of a PP visit at HKG
A bar, not a lounge — PP's dining format gets you a set menu (one main + one drink) and 10% off à la carte, with plane-spotting views from the 200 m Sky Bridge. Amex-issued Priority Pass cards are excluded from non-lounge experiences; bank-issued PP and DragonPass variants work.
Not one door at HKG publishes a walk-in price. That is not the same as "you cannot pay" —
most desks will sell you an entry — it means no rate we can source, so we quote none. If a
card below doesn't open the door, budget for a desk quote in local currency.
Worth doing the arithmetic before you swipe: a ₹3,000 walk-in is a bad trade against a card
whose whole annual fee buys a season of visits — that comparison is exactly what
the lounge-card ranking computes.
