How we got this ₹ figure
₹0.25 is our HOUSE value for a point — what a disciplined traveller actually clears, not the best redemption we have ever seen (₹0.25, the ceiling) and not the worst you can always fall back on (₹0.25, the floor). It is the number every route on this page is priced with.
We hold one dated point for PNB Reward Points — the mark itself. There is no earlier valuation on our record, so this page shows no trend line rather than drawing one. How we value a point →

The currency behind PNB's whole RuPay/Visa credit-card shelf, and the rate is settled in PNB's REGULATORY document rather than its marketing. The MITC for Retail Credit Cards says it in one line — "Presently the Value of 1 reward point is 25 paise, Punjab National Bank may, at its sole discretion, exercise its right to change the value of reward points" — and then USES the number, pricing a closure debit at "1000 Negative Reward Points X Rs 0.25 per Reward Point". Five card-scoped anchors agree: both LUXURA Metal pages say "4 rewards points (Worth Rs. 1) for every Rs100/- spent" and ladder milestones at 10,000 points = ₹2,500, 14,000 = ₹3,500 and 26,000 = ₹6,500; the Zaggle twin says "10 rewards points (Value at Rs. 2.50)". THE ONE DOCUMENT THAT DISAGREES is pnbcard.in/rewards.html, the programme overview page, which reads "1 (One) Reward Point is worth INR 0.50 (50 paise)" today — and it does not settle anything, because that figure OSCILLATES. Archived snapshots run ₹0.50 (May, Sep, Oct 2024) → ₹0.25 (Jan, Feb 2025) → ₹0.50 (Mar 2025) → ₹0.25 (Jul 2025) → ₹0.50 (live, Aug 2026), while the same sentence's tail — "Thus, 1000 Reward Points get you free shopping or cashback worth INR 500" — never moves, so every ₹0.25 version of that page contradicts its own next clause. Its earn table also still lists only the eight original variants and knows nothing of LUXURA, Bliss, Salary, Patanjali, Rakshak, EaseMyTrip, RRB or Zaggle. An unmaintained string revised four times in two years does not outrank an MITC, so the band stays flat at ₹0.25 rather than widening to admit it. One caveat PNB does state and we carry: the MITC's own "(this conversion value may vary for different card variants)". It is a CLOSED LOOP — redemption runs through the PNB GENIE app and the Rewardz portal (statement credit / catalogue / gift vouchers), minimum 1,000 points a redemption, and pnbcard.in names no airline, no hotel and no transfer partner anywhere on the site.

Expiry: 3 years from the date of accrual. PNB's MITC for Retail Credit Cards, section T: "The reward points on Credit Cards will be expired if not redeemed within 3 years from the date of accrual." The programme page (pnbcard.in/rewards.html) prints the same rule verbatim and — unlike the ₹-per-point figure two lines above it — has kept it unchanged across every archived snapshot from May 2024 to today. Redemption needs a minimum of 1,000 points in hand, and the card account itself closes after a year unused, which takes the balance with it.
