PNB has published a revised schedule of credit-card charges that takes effect on 1 November 2026. On the EaseMyTrip RuPay Platinum, the cash advance line changes:

Cash advanceUntil 31 Oct 2026From 1 Nov 2026
Charge2% or ₹100, whichever is higher2.5% or ₹400, whichever is higher
On a ₹5,000 withdrawal₹100₹400
On a ₹20,000 withdrawal₹400₹500

All figures are before GST. The new ₹400 floor is the part that hurts. Any withdrawal up to ₹16,000 pays the floor, so a small ATM withdrawal now costs four times what it did. Interest on a cash advance still starts on the day you withdraw, on top of the charge.

The table is for a PNB ATM. At any other ATM, and abroad, the new floor is ₹500.

Correction, 17 October 2026. An earlier version of this post said the same notice left PNB’s other cards at their current cash-advance rates. It does not. Those figures were the notice’s “existing” column, which is all the search extracts showed us. Read in full, the notice moves every PNB Visa and RuPay card to 2.5% or ₹400 at a PNB ATM (₹500 elsewhere) on 1 November. It also raises the late-payment fee to as much as ₹1,200, charges 2% (minimum ₹400) for a bounced payment, adds ₹99 to every reward redemption and puts a 1% fee on utility payments above ₹50,000 a cycle.

None of this affects what the card is for. People hold the EMT card for 10–20% off EaseMyTrip flights and hotels, not for cash. Don’t use it at an ATM.
