BOM → DOH2,290 km · 1,420 mi — short-haul Gulf hop2 programs pricedas of 2026-07-22
The best Qsuite value from India that nobody talks about. Qatar Airways is a oneworld partner, so Avios prices BOM–DOH on the distance chart — 1,424 miles lands in Zone 3, which means the Qsuite up front costs just 24,500 Avios one-way (₹24,500 at house value) for a genuine business product on a short hop. Air India's flat 12,000-point economy tier owns the cheap end. Asia Miles could also reach Qatar, but only through its punishing multi-carrier chart — 65,000-plus for the same seat — so Avios isn't just the play here, it's a rout.

All-in ₹ = points × the program's house value (valuation
index) + the sourced one-way surcharge; a dash means the carrier doesn't publish it and
the ranking counts it ₹0 — the row's note carries the caveat. “Dynamic” rows never compete
for the play. Feed-ins come from the same transfer data as the
optimizer, multi-hop chains included.
The corridor's headline: 24,500 Avios for Qsuite, the best short-haul business seat in the sky, on the Zone 3 partner rate (1,152–2,000 mi). Nine Indian issuers feed Avios and HSBC/Axis move at 1:1. Budget a few thousand rupees of Qatar surcharges on top; even so, no other program reaches this cabin for anywhere near the miles. Re-priced 2026-07-22 to the post-15-Dec-2025 partner bands (milelion primary) — draft used the stale pre-devaluation chart.
Doha is named in the April-2026 chart's flat 12,000-point Middle East economy tier — ₹9,600 of points, the cheap-cabin floor on this corridor. Verify the Air India group actually operates BOM–DOH on your dates (Air India Express carries most of it); Value-tier space only.
Qatar Airways nonstop (oneworld) — Avios partner chart, Zone 3
Qatar is a single oneworld partner, so it prices on Avios' per-segment partner chart — BOM–DOH (1,424 mi) is Zone 3 at 12,500 Avios one-way. Qatar imposes moderate carrier surcharges (exact ex-India figure unpublished); still, ₹12,500-and-change of points beats most cash sale fares. Qatar Privilege Club's own Avios chart may vary a touch. Re-priced 2026-07-22 to the post-15-Dec-2025 partner bands (milelion primary) — draft used the stale pre-devaluation chart.
