Zurich → Delhi on points: 42 options, the board now symmetric with Delhi → Zurich. Award charts price the zone pair or the distance band, not the direction, so every program that prices the India-origin leg is mirrored here — a mirror still flagged as an estimate never takes the crown. The cheapest verified business seat on the board is 40,000 via Air Canada Aeroplan, and economy starts at 20,000 on AAdvantage's oneworld region chart — 3,820 miles slips under Aeroplan's 4,000-mile line, so SWISS's own nonstop books at the low band. 17 rows are first-hand chart reads.

All-in ₹ = points × the program's house value (valuation index) + the sourced one-way surcharge; a dash means the carrier doesn't publish it and the ranking counts it ₹0 — the row's note carries the caveat. That surcharge is the airline's own cash charge on an award — YQ, as the notes below call it — and it is not the fuel-surcharge waiver your credit card advertises: that one hands back a hundred rupees or two at a petrol pump, this one runs to tens of thousands and decides whether the award is worth taking at all. “Dynamic” and estimated (~… est.) rows never compete for the play — the crown is always a verified, bookable price. Feed-ins come from the same transfer data as the optimizer, multi-hop chains included.

Chart-priced, not live seats. These prices are read off each programme’s published award chart and valued at our own house ₹/point. 37% of the 39,855 priced options on the board are stated estimates for programmes that publish no chart; they are marked ~ est. and never crowned the play. Nobody here can see whether a seat exists on your date — confirm the space with the programme before you transfer. Points that leave your issuer do not come back.

The cash on top of the miles. Lufthansa Miles & More, Avios (BA / Qatar / Finnair), Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Etihad Guest and Emirates Skywards state that a carrier-imposed surcharge is charged on an award. American Airlines AAdvantage, Air India Maharaja Points, Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards, China Eastern Miles, United MileagePlus and Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles make you liable for one if the operating airline levies it, without saying whether it does. Air Canada Aeroplan states it adds none on its own metal. Government taxes and airport charges are payable in every case. Almost no programme publishes the amount, so the desk carries each one’s policy in its own words — on its programme hub — rather than a number nobody published. 9 other programmes priced here publish nothing the desk could read.

Open this corridor in British Airways’ Flight Finder → It fills in your search — ZRH to DEL on 29/12/2026, which you change there. It does not show award space, and no link on this page can. It is the only carrier handoff the desk ships: Qatar returns CASH fares under award-looking parameters, Aeroplan discards them behind a login, KrisFlyer’s search has no URL to link to, and the Flying Blue template in circulation has never been verified.

Lufthansa Miles & More

~22,000 pts est.

SWISS own metal from ZRH, dynamic award

SWISS Star Alliance

SWISS own-metal Zurich→Delhi. Miles & More passes HEAVY carrier-imposed surcharges on LH/LX own metal — after the 2026-08-01 recalibration this is the ONLY bad thing about it. The surcharges are now observed rather than estimated: one-way ex-Frankfurt runs EUR 395-546 to India, the Middle East, Africa and Asia (Delhi EUR 475, Mumbai EUR 474, Dubai EUR 397, Singapore EUR 406) and a flat EUR 836-885 to North America; ex-Zurich runs CHF 330-490 to India, Asia and Africa and CHF 730-764 to North America; First is dearer again at EUR 993 transatlantic; intra-Europe is EUR 59-85. They move fast and in one direction — March 2026 added EUR 100 to Frankfurt-Delhi and EUR 200 to every North American one-way inside three weeks. Ex-India departures sit at the top of the bands. The MILES ask, by contrast, is far lower than this board used to assume: the cheapest one-way Business Light ex-Frankfurt now runs 37,786 miles (Delhi) to 78,914 (Singapore), so an LH/LX own-metal award is no longer the automatic mistake it was called here before — Aeroplan and United MileagePlus still price the same seats and remain the better cash-out. A valid SWISS routing is assumed.

Estimate Dynamic/unpublished-chart program — estimate is the typical one-way economy level Zurich→Delhi (range 5,000–45,000), economy is a mid-tariff typical, not an observation: no per-route economy survey exists and the Light-vs-Flex spread on one flight runs 5-7x (Amsterdam-Delhi 5,700 Light vs 33,700 Flex), with transatlantic economy seen as low as 88 miles; not a fixed chart price, never THE PLAY.

Qatar Airways via DOH (oneworld) — Avios partner chart, per-segment

Qatar Airways oneworld

The economy companion to the corridor's existing Avios business row: DEL-DOH (Z3, 12,500) + DOH-ZRH (2,793 mi, Z4, 14,500) = 27,000 Avios, Qatar via Doha. Zurich survives the 3,000-mi ceiling; London and Amsterdam next door do not. The business row prices the same routing at 67,500.

Estimate Reverse of del-zrh — Avios (BA / Qatar / Finnair)'s chart prices the zone pair, not the direction. The del-zrh row is a verified chart read at this price; this direction is mirrored from it, not separately re-read, so it is flagged an estimate and never crowned THE PLAY.

Air China PhoenixMiles

~30,000 pts est.

Star Alliance partner metal (Lufthansa via FRA — Air China left Zurich), India→Europe — Air China PhoenixMiles

Lufthansa Star Alliance

Air China PhoenixMiles prices its own metal (India→Beijing, resumed Apr-2026) plus Star partners. North Asia is its only genuine strength; elsewhere it is a weak Star pricer with heavy fuel surcharges (why the currency sits at ₹0.90). India-origin levels are not published, so all values are estimated off trans-Pacific anchors. One-way (current PhoenixMiles).

Estimate Reverse of del-zrh — Air China PhoenixMiles prices the zone pair, not the direction, so the del-zrh row is mirrored here rather than re-read. That row is itself an estimate: PhoenixMiles' official zone division could not be reconciled with this corridor — Air China publishes no India-origin level, and its published zone tables do not map cleanly onto these city pairs. This value is extrapolated from the nearest published anchors, not a verified chart price.

Air India Maharaja Points

~35,000 pts est.

Air India own metal from DEL, region award

Air India Star Alliance

Air India own-metal Zurich→Delhi. Air India publishes no no-surcharge promise: the Maharaja Club terms say members “shall pay applicable taxes and surcharges” on Air India, Air India Express and Star Alliance flights alike, and the FAQ this desk once cited for the opposite does not contain the sentence it was credited with. What own-metal awards have cost in practice is statutory taxes plus airport/user development fees: small on India–Gulf/SE Asia, moderate on Europe/North America, and materially higher on anything touching London Heathrow because of UK APD. Star Alliance partner awards booked with Maharaja Points are a different animal and can carry partner surcharges. A valid Air India routing is assumed.

Estimate Air India publishes no award chart. Its own Points Calculator states that “Fares indicated above are dependent on the time of booking and seat availability”, and Maharaja Club prices every award either as a Value fare (the discounted rate for booking well in advance) or as a higher Prime fare closer to departure. This number is the Value-fare floor as sampled after the April-2026 repricing — not a published chart cell: Value space is not always available on a given flight, and the same seat prices higher once it is gone. Pricing model re-verified against Air India’s Maharaja Club T&C and Points Calculator on 2026-08-09.

Aegean Miles+Bonus

35,000 pts

Star Alliance partner metal, India→Europe — Aegean Miles+Bonus

Star Alliance

Aegean Miles+Bonus prices Star partner metal off one region chart published as ROUND TRIPS — its own rule is that a one-way costs exactly half, and the halved figure is what we show. India sits in the "Near East & Central Asia" zone: the Far East is a flat 30k/45k one-way (Tokyo costs the same as Bangkok), Europe 35k/55k, North America 50k/75k. That chart is a single upper-triangular ZONE-PAIR matrix — 45 published cells for 9 zones, exactly one per unordered pair — so ZRH → DEL and DEL → ZRH resolve to the same cell. Re-read against the chart and promoted from mirror-estimate to chart read on 2026-08-06. That row is itself an estimate: Delta SkyMiles is fully dynamic (no chart since 2015); ~55,000/140,000 is a representative SkyTeam partner saver level India→Europe on AF/KLM/KE/VN/MU metal — peak dates and the 2026 partner hikes swing business 1.5–3×.

TAP Air Portugal Miles&Go

Star Alliance partner metal, India→Europe — TAP Miles&Go

Star Alliance

TAP's 4 May 2026 devaluation lifted India→Europe (its "Europe and North Africa" zone) from 70k/115k to 80k/125k one-way. TAP's own metal and the Lufthansa group carry the heaviest fuel surcharges of any Star program into Europe; Turkish, EgyptAir and Ethiopian routings dodge most of the YQ. Keep the itinerary inside two TAP zones — anything touching a third is billed segment by segment and summed.

Estimate Reverse of del-zrh — TAP Air Portugal Miles&Go's chart prices the zone pair, not the direction. The del-zrh row is a verified chart read at this price; this direction is mirrored from it, not separately re-read, so it is flagged an estimate and never crowned THE PLAY.

Air China PhoenixMiles

Aegean Miles+Bonus

55,000 pts

No Indian card feeds it — Marriott Bonvoy 3:1 is the only road in, and awards only display once you hold the full balance.

Lufthansa Miles & More

62,500 pts

Air India nonstop — Star Alliance partner award, fixed Miles & More chart

Air India Star Alliance

Miles & More's PARTNER chart is the one thing the 3-Jun-2025 switch to dynamic pricing did not touch, and the official Award Flight chart (correct as of 3 March 2026) gives INDIA its own region, separate from South East Asia and from Central Asia/Far East. Europe↔India in business is 125,000 miles RETURN — the same band as Europe↔North America, not the dearer South East Asia column. The halving is published, not assumed: Miles & More's General terms and conditions for Award Flights, §1.1 One-way Award Flight, reads “One-way Award Flights allow you to book an Award Flight for a single leg for 50% fewer miles than a standard Award Flight”, and carves out only Lufthansa/SWISS/Austrian metal, where the saving tracks the dynamic online offer. That puts this corridor at 62,500 one-way, fixed and published, on PARTNER metal. Air India flies it nonstop, which keeps the whole intercontinental leg out of the dynamic engine. It beats the SWISS own-metal ask, which this desk levels at 73,000 floating 65,000–1,40,000 (68,816 miles cheapest one-way Business Light in the Jul-2026 ex-Zurich survey) — and it is FIXED, where the dynamic ask is not. The chart is miles-only: the PDF still makes you pay “taxes, fees, airline surcharges payable to the respective airlines”, so the cash bill follows the OPERATING carrier — which is exactly why partner metal escapes the EUR 395–885 one-way that Lufthansa and SWISS own metal carries. On this pair that means Air India's charge rather than SWISS's CHF 330–490 ex-Zurich. The SWISS nonstop still exists as the dynamic alternate; award space on Air India, not the price, is the constraint here.

Avianca LifeMiles

Star Alliance partner metal, India→Europe — Avianca LifeMiles

Star Alliance

LifeMiles prices Star partner metal off an unpublished grid; India→Europe business ~63k is the headline sweet spot (beats Aeroplan). Business is the value cabin here; economy is mediocre. The chart is semi-fixed/unpublished, so some bands are estimates.

Estimate Reverse of del-zrh — Avianca LifeMiles prices the zone pair, not the direction, so the del-zrh row is mirrored here rather than re-read. That row is itself an estimate: LifeMiles publishes no award chart — Avianca withdrew its public zone table in 2023 and prices Star partner awards off an unpublished internal grid. More Avios than BA-metal corridors, but the easiest currency to mint; AAdvantage books the identical Qsuite for 42,500 if you can fund it via Bonvoy.

Etihad Guest

Etihad via AUH (one stop) — Saver Award dynamic, the trap

Etihad Airways

Saver Award is dynamic and, on documented India→Europe through-tickets, lands north of 100,000 miles plus heavy carrier charges. From India it is chain-only after Amex MR drops Etihad on 01-Jul-2026 (Hilton 10:1, IHG 5:1, Shangri-La 1:1). Priced here as the honest trap, not a plan.

Estimate Reverse of del-zrh — Etihad Guest prices the zone pair, not the direction, so the del-zrh row is mirrored here rather than re-read. That row is itself an estimate: Etihad Guest Saver Award starting level for the ~4,385-mile flown itinerary (via AUH), read off Etihad's last published one-way distance-band structure (5,000-mile band). Etihad publishes no award chart today - GuestSeat became Saver Award on 13-Nov-2025 and pricing lives in the Miles Calculator - so fixed-rate space is limited and real quotes often run well above this floor.

Air India Maharaja Points
