SBI drops Flying Blue from the MILES transfer table — the second 1:1 door to close in two months
SBI's 23 September MILES rewards T&C no longer lists Air France-KLM Flying Blue. Travel Credits now go to 16 airlines and 8 hotels; every other ratio is unchanged.

Before
SBI Card Travel Credits transferred 1:1 into Air France-KLM Flying Blue, row 4 of the seventeen-airline table in §3 of the MILES rewards T&C (3-Aug-2026 edition). At the ₹1/partner-mile anchor that was a full-value exit, and the cheapest Indian door into Flying Blue's Promo Rewards from India.
After
No Flying Blue route from SBI. The 23-Sep-2026 edition of the MILES rewards T&C lists sixteen airline partners and Air France-KLM is not one of them — neither "France" nor "KLM" appears anywhere in the seven-page document. Every other partner survives at the same ratio: 16 airlines + 8 hotels, 13 of them at 1:1.
The card this affects

SBI Card’s MILES rewards T&C, dated 23 September 2026 inside the PDF, has one fewer airline than the 3 August edition. Air France-KLM Flying Blue is gone. Neither “France” nor “KLM” appears anywhere in the seven-page document.
The numbering makes the deletion certain. Rows one to three are unchanged (Air Arabia, AirAsia, Air Canada). Air India moved from 5 to 4, British Airways from 6 to 5, and every row below moved up exactly one. Row four used to be Flying Blue at 1:1.
This is the second 1:1 exit SBI has closed in two months, after Etihad Guest in August. SBI published no notice for either; the PDF is the only record.
What’s left for SBI MILES, MILES Prime and MILES Elite holders: 16 airlines and 8 hotels, 13 of them at 1:1, including Air India Maharaja Club, British Airways and Qatar Avios, Air Canada Aeroplan, Cathay and Qantas. Our ₹1 value for a Travel Credit doesn’t move, because those 1:1 exits still exist. If you were saving Travel Credits for a Flying Blue Promo Reward, the cheapest Indian route in is now a bank currency that still transfers there; the transfer partners page lists them.
