IndusInd joined Air India’s Maharaja Club in June 2025, in the same batch as AU and YES. The launch table, which Air India’s French-locale partner page still prints, gave the lifetime-free Tiger 2:1: two Reward Points for each Maharaja point. Pioneer Private was the only IndusInd card at par.

LiveFromALounge reports that Tiger’s rate went to 1:1 from 1 June 2026, and Air India’s current IndusInd table now prints Tiger at 1:1 beside Pioneer Private.

The plumbing did not change. Transfers go through IndusMoments in multiples of 100, with a 500-point minimum, a ₹100 redemption fee and a 25,000-point cap each calendar month. Nothing moved on IndusInd’s other cards: Pinnacle, Heritage and Indulge stay at 2:1 and Legend at 4:1.

Our take: this doubles what a Tiger point is worth as miles, and it does so on a card with no fee. Tiger’s slab earn means light spenders still mint few points, so the cap only matters if you spend heavily. Transfer what you will fly with, before you need it.

Comparisons this changes

IndusInd Tiger vs Scapia (Federal Bank)

Both lifetime free and level at ₹25k a month, where Scapia's case is 0% forex; above it Tiger runs away — far more lounge doors, and miles that reach Maharaja Club 1:1.

IndusInd Tiger vs Scapia (Axis Bank)

Two lifetime-free travel cards with no annual fee at all. Scapia pays 2% back in Scapia coins and charges zero forex mark-up; Tiger pays 1% in IndusInd points and charges 1.5% abroad.
