How we got this ₹ figure

₹0.10 is our HOUSE value for a point — what a disciplined traveller actually clears, not the best redemption we have ever seen (₹0.10, the ceiling) and not the worst you can always fall back on (₹0.10, the floor). It is the number every route on this page is priced with.

We hold one dated point for EazyDiner Reward Points — the mark itself. There is no earlier valuation on our record, so this page shows no trend line rather than drawing one. How we value a point →

A different currency from IndusInd Reward Points, and the bank's own T&C page is what separates them. "Terms and Conditions: EazyDiner Reward Points on IndusInd Bank Credit Card" says the points "can only be redeemed on the EazyDiner app and not via any offline medium", that they "cannot be redeemed against cash credit", and that anything beyond a restaurant bill comes out of the EazyDiner app catalogue. There is no IndusMoments route, so no KrisFlyer and no Maharaja Club: this point reaches no airline and no hotel programme at all. The rate is the issuer's own worked example on the card page — a ₹5,000 restaurant bill settled with 1,000 points knocks ₹100 off it, so ₹0.10 flat, and floor = value = ceiling because the only exit is that one. Modelled separately precisely so a card earning these does not inherit the transfer grid of a card earning the other kind.

    Devaluation moderate Axis Bank
The Reserve's memberships stop renewing unless you say yes
Club ITC Culinaire, Accorplus, handcrafted Club Marriott Asia Pacific, EazyDiner Prime and Priority Pass renewed automatically each year for as long as the card was open → From 15 Nov 2026 complimentary memberships linked to the card renew only with the cardholder's explicit consent — Axis says renewal and consent details will be shared closer to each renewal date. The same notice flips Priority Pass off at Indian domestic lounges from 28 Aug 2026 (present the Reserve card itself) and adds a ₹1,300 late-payment slab above ₹50,000 outstanding

The Reserve's whole defence of a ₹50,000 fee is the membership stack — Club ITC Culinaire with its free third night, Accorplus, handcrafted Club Marriott Asia Pacific, EazyDiner Prime, and the unlimited Priority Pass. Axis's own Reserve revision notice says that from 15 November none of them renew unless you actively consent. Framed as a choice, it works as breakage: the failure mode of an opt-in is silence, and a cardholder who misses the renewal email keeps paying ₹50,000 for a card whose benefits have quietly lapsed. Reserve is on the same list as Select, Magnus, Magnus for Burgundy, Burgundy Private, Olympus and both Miles & More cards, so this is the whole Axis premium book learning the same trick. Two other things ride the notice: from 28 August the Priority Pass card stops opening Indian domestic lounges — you present the Reserve itself against Axis's own eligible-lounge list, and post-immigration lounges at Indian international terminals still count as international — and a fifth late-payment slab of ₹1,300 appears above ₹50,000 outstanding. Notably, the Reserve notice carries no dynamic-currency-conversion line at all while the bank-wide grid goes 1.5% → 3.5%, and the card's 1.5% foreign transaction fee is untouched.

    Fee moderate Axis Bank
Burgundy Private's lapse fee doubles to ₹1 lakh
Annual fee ₹50,000 + GST if the ₹5 Cr TRV lapses (Nil while the Burgundy Private relationship holds) → Annual fee ₹1,00,000 + GST below ₹5 Cr TRV from 1 Sep 2026 — TRV checked the month before the card anniversary month; still Nil at ₹5 Cr+. Same revision package: Priority Pass invalid at Indian domestic lounges from 28 Aug 2026 (present the card itself), memberships renew only with explicit consent from 15 Nov 2026

Axis's August-2026 revision banner on The One Card page reads politely and lands hard: from 1 September the fee that surfaces when a Burgundy Private relationship slips below ₹5 crore doubles from ₹50,000 to ₹1,00,000 + GST, with the TRV test run the month before your card anniversary. Holders who keep the ₹5 Cr relationship still pay nothing — the card's whole premise survives — but the exit toll for a lapsed private-banking client is now six figures. The same package rewires the airport routine from 28 August (Priority Pass stops working at Indian domestic lounges; the card itself opens them, and post-immigration lounges still count as international on PP) and, from 15 November, stops auto-renewing the Club Marriott / Accor+ Explorer / Taj Epicure / EazyDiner memberships without your explicit consent — silent-lapse risk for the perks that justify the tier.

HSBC's RuPay Platinum welcome suite lapses — ₹500 cashback, EazyDiner and the UPI ₹250 all end together
₹500 cashback for downloading the HSBC India app and spending ₹5,000 in the first 30 days, two months of EazyDiner Prime on activation, and ₹250 cashback for two card-linked UPI transactions of ₹250 or more → All three gone for cards applied for from 1 September 2026; the only welcome left is the ₹250 Amazon eGift Voucher for an online application completed with Video KYC

Three separate HSBC offer T&Cs put the same deadline on this lifetime-free card, and all three ran out on the same night. The introductory-cashback T&C: "who apply for a RuPay Platinum Credit Card between 15th July 2025 till 31 August 2026 ('Offer Period')", with clause 5 restating "Offer ends 31 August 2026". The EazyDiner T&C: "Offer Period – 15 July 2025 to 31 August 2026". The UPI cashback T&C: "15 May 2026 to 31 August 2026". HSBC has published no successor for any of them — not on the product page, not on its credit-card offers index — so this is a lapse, not a replacement. The product page has not been told: it still advertises all three, still links the expired PDFs, and still shows a fourth dead bullet, the ₹1,000 Account Aggregator cashback whose own window was "between 14 August 2026 till 31 August 2026". The survivor is the Amazon voucher, which its inline terms run "during the offer period 1 January 2026 to 31 October 2026". Verified against the issuer PDFs on 2 September 2026.

HSBC's RuPay Cashback welcome suite lapses — ₹500 cashback, EazyDiner and the UPI ₹250 all end together
₹500 cashback for downloading the HSBC India app and transacting ₹10,000 in the first 30 days, two months of EazyDiner Prime on activation, and ₹250 cashback for two card-linked UPI transactions of ₹250 or more → All three gone for cards applied for from 1 September 2026; the only welcome left is the ₹250 Amazon eGift Voucher for an online application completed with Video KYC

The same three deadlines as the RuPay Platinum, one document set over, and they matter more here because this card charges ₹499. The introductory-cashback T&C reads "who apply for a RuPay Cashback Credit Card between 15th July 2025 till 31 August 2026 ('Offer Period')" and clause 5 restates "Offer ends 31 August 2026"; the EazyDiner and UPI T&Cs close on the same date. Nothing succeeds them on the product page or on HSBC's credit-card offers index. A ₹499 card that used to return its own fee in month one now opens with a ₹250 Amazon voucher, whose window runs "1 January 2026 to 31 October 2026". The page still advertises everything that expired, including the ₹1,000 Account Aggregator offer that ran only 14–31 August 2026. Also expiring on 31 August 2026, per the same page's forex tile, is this card's 0% FX mark-up promotion — a card fact rather than a welcome one, and the standing tariff-sheet rate behind it is 3.5%. Verified against the issuer PDFs on 2 September 2026.

HSBC TravelOne guts its welcome offer for new applicants
₹10,000 spend unlocked welcome perks + 3,000 RP at ₹1L → ₹25,000 spend needed; 3,000 RP milestone scrapped

New TravelOne applicants from 1 July 2026 need 2.5x the spend just to see the same cashback, PostCard voucher and EazyDiner Prime — and the 3,000-point bonus for hitting ₹1L in 90 days is gone entirely. Existing cardholders are untouched, but the card that undercut HDFC and Axis on entry-level accessibility just got a lot less generous to acquire. HSBC quietly listed the change on its own T&C page with no press release.

    Fee minor IndusInd Bank
IndusInd doubles its DCC fee to 2% on the mass shelf, and holds 1% on the premium one
One flat rate for everybody: "Dynamic Currency Conversion Fee | 1% Mark-up fee plus taxes on all transactions carried out in Indian Currency at an international location / merchants located in India but registered overseas" (till 14th June 2026) → Split in two from 15 June 2026. 2% + GST on Platinum RuPay, Platinum, Platinum Aura Edge, Duo, ePay Amex, Legend, Next, EazyDiner Platinum, Iconia Visa, Platinum Aura Edge (For Government Sector), Platinum Aura, Platinum Select, Signature, Samman, Tiger, Jio-bp Mobility+ and CRED IndusInd RuPay. 1% + GST on Pioneer Legacy, Indulge, Celesta, Crest, Pinnacle, Avios Visa Infinite and EazyDiner Signature. Not levied at all on Pioneer Private, Pioneer Heritage and Indus Solitaire

Read this one as a split, not an introduction — the fee already existed. IndusInd's MITC printed a flat "1% Mark-up fee plus taxes" on dynamic currency conversion for every card it issues; from 15 June 2026 it forks, and which fork you are on has nothing to do with what you paid for the card. The 2% list is the mass shelf plus, oddly, several cards sold on travel: Platinum RuPay, Platinum, Platinum Aura Edge, Duo, ePay Amex, Legend, Next, EazyDiner Platinum, Iconia Visa, Platinum Aura Edge (For Government Sector), Platinum Aura, Platinum Select, Signature, Samman, Tiger, the Jio-bp Mobility+ and the CRED RuPay card. The 1% list is the premium metal — Pioneer Legacy, Indulge, Celesta, Crest, Pinnacle, Avios Visa Infinite and EazyDiner Signature — and three cards escape entirely: Pioneer Private, Pioneer Heritage and Indus Solitaire. Note EazyDiner is on BOTH lists at different rates: Platinum pays 2%, Signature pays 1%. The Tiger is the one that stings. It is sold on a 1.5% forex markup against India's 3.5% norm, and a 2% DCC fee stacks on top of that markup the moment a foreign terminal offers to bill you in rupees — which is the whole trap, and the fix is free: always choose the merchant's local currency abroad. THE DOCUMENT PROBLEM, recorded so this 2% is not mistakenly reverted to 1%. IndusInd's live MITC_Premium URL is non-deterministic: consecutive no-cache fetches return two different bodies at random, titled "MITC-Premium Card Consolidated_10.09.2025" and "…04.12.2024", and BOTH are stale editions that predate this revision and still print the flat 1%. The rows above come from a post-revision edition reached through the Wayback pin cited here — which itself served "MITC-Premium Card Consolidated_19.05.2026" on 2026-08-23 and "…_25.06.2026" on 2026-08-24, the two agreeing verbatim on this clause. Check the served PDF's Title metadata before trusting any figure from the live path. One card is genuinely unresolved: Iconia AMEX appears on NEITHER list, so its post-15-June rate is not published anywhere, and this desk claims no number for it.
