Axis more than doubles its DCC markup to 3.5% — from 28 Aug 2026
Axis Bank's Dynamic Currency Conversion markup will increase to 3.5% from 28 Aug 2026, but premium cards like Olympus and Magnus will have lower rates. This change will affect users who make foreign transactions.
Burgundy Private's lapse fee doubles to ₹1 lakh
Axis's revision notice for The One Card: from 1 September 2026, a Burgundy Private relationship below ₹5 crore triggers ₹1,00,000 + GST instead of ₹50,000. Priority Pass also stops opening Indian domestic lounges on 28 August, and the bundled memberships stop auto-renewing from 15 November.
Priority Pass stops opening Indian domestic lounges on every Axis card
From 28 August 2026 Axis cardholders must present the credit card itself at Indian domestic lounges — Priority Pass will not be accepted. Five card notices carry the identical clause. Post-immigration lounges at international terminals still count as international.

Axis Bank SELECT's ₹3 lakh anniversary threshold will no longer count spends on insurance, rent, fuel, education, utilities, telecom, wallet, gold/jewellery, government services, and gift cards from 1 Oct 2026. This change effectively raises the bar for cardholders who spend heavily on these categories.
TAP's own-metal award table stops being a chart — every cell is now a floor
Eleven weeks after repricing its Star Alliance chart, TAP changed the kind of document it publishes. The own-metal table effective 28 July is titled 'Award Ticket Values From' and every cabin column is headed 'from' — 71 cells, all minimums. Lisbon to North America in business reads from 135,000 miles one-way, against the 63,000 this desk carried through July.
Axis Reserve memberships opt-in from 15 Nov 2026
The Axis Reserve card's memberships will stop renewing automatically from 15 Nov 2026, unless cardholders explicitly consent. This change affects Club ITC Culinaire, Accorplus, handcrafted Club Marriott Asia Pacific, EazyDiner Prime, and Priority Pass memberships, which were previously renewed automatically each year for as long as the card was open.

KrisFlyer puts a miles floor under award search
From 21 July 2026 a thin KrisFlyer balance gets you an error instead of an award calendar. Singapore Airlines confirms the block is deliberate and refuses to publish the threshold; community testing puts it near 1,000–1,500 miles. Booking is unaffected.
IndiGo's Axis and IDFC co-brands double signup bonuses till 31 July
