There is no Emirates award chart to sweet-spot — Skywards is a dynamic calculator, and ex-India it is one of the most surcharge-heavy currencies we index (which is why our mark sits at a haircut ₹0.90). Saver space is the whole game: find a Saver Business date to Dubai and the miles number is tolerable; miss it and the "Flex" price is a cash fare in disguise. Push the redemption past Dubai to Europe or the US and the carrier-imposed surcharges alone run ₹40,000+, quietly eating the award. The one card that skips the transfer entirely is the ICICI Emirates co-brand, which drops Skywards miles straight into your account.
₹/pt = (typical cash − surcharge) ÷ points, computed only from sourced numbers — the build
fails if a row's arithmetic doesn't. A dash means no honest cash anchor exists; the row's
note below says why. Dynamic-priced programs are framed as “typical”, never guaranteed.
Chart-priced, not live seats. Every corridor behind this page is priced off published award charts — 39,855 options across 2,450 corridors. 37% of the 39,855 priced options on the board are stated
estimates for programmes that publish no chart; they are marked ~ est. and never crowned the play. Nobody here can see
whether a seat exists on your date — confirm the space with the programme
before you transfer. Points that leave your issuer do not come back.
Row by row
BOM/DEL → DXB, business class Saver (one-way) — dynamic
unpriced
Re-priced 2-Aug-2026 off Emirates' OWN Miles Calculator, which quotes BOM–DXB and DEL–DXB business Classic Saver at 36,000 one-way (72,000 return; Flex Plus 62,000) — the 52,500 we used to print here was never Emirates' number and is retired. South India pays more: BLR, MAA and HYD quote 50,000 for the same cabin. Saver seats are still capped per flight, and even on the good date taxes and Emirates' carrier surcharge add ~₹15,000–20,000 one-way, so no ₹/pt is claimed. At ₹0.90 a mile the 3.5-hour A380 to DXB is the least-bad Skywards burn — Flex pricing is a cash ticket dressed as an award.

India → Europe/US via DXB, business Saver (one-way) — the surcharge trap
unpriced
Emirates publishes no chart for this, and the page we used to price it from is gone — so the miles number and the surcharge number are both withdrawn rather than carried on a dead citation. What Emirates DOES publish, in its Programme Rules, is the rule that decides this redemption: "All taxes, duties and carrier imposed charges … are the responsibility of a Member and must be paid prior to the issuance of the Emirates Classic Reward ticket." On a long-haul beyond Dubai those carrier-imposed charges are the whole story, layered on a mile already surcharge-haircut to ₹0.90 — quote the cash at checkout before you transfer a point. The value in this programme is short-haul to Dubai, full stop.
Feed it: Don't route long-haul through Skywards for the surcharge alone; ICICI co-brand earners aside, KrisFlyer or Maharaja bank the miles better
