What it's worth to you, after the fee

Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until IndusInd Bank publishes terms we can cite.

Why #1107 The upper Landmark rung: six savings points per ₹100 at the bookshop, two at the supermarket and the restaurant, and nothing to pay ever. Carried, not valued — the points came back out only at Landmark, and Landmark is gone.

The take

The Landmark Platinum is the upper of the two rungs IndusInd inherited from Deutsche Bank in 2011, and the honest way to read it is as a store loyalty card that happened to work everywhere else too. It cost nothing — Nil to join, Nil to renew, Nil for add-ons, on IndusInd's own regulatory fee table in 2011 and again in October 2012. What IndusInd published that Deutsche never had is the full accrual table, and it is more generous away from the bookshop than the co-brand framing suggests. Six savings points on every ₹100 at Landmark. Two at departmental stores, two at restaurants and two on groceries. One and a half on movie tickets and on mobile bills. Half a point on fuel and on everything else, with the 2.5% fuel surcharge waived on top. Only the top row differs from the Gold rung below, which earns four at Landmark and is otherwise identical — for the same Nil price. Landmark's own privileges came with it and were the real draw: early word on the chain's annual sales, exclusive monthly discounts on books, music and movies, free tickets to its quiz and book-reading evenings, and free gift wrapping. IndusInd also let you pick your own statement cycle from five dates, and covered unauthorised transactions up to the card's full credit limit under Total Protection. It is carried and not ranked because of a single footnote IndusInd printed in plain sight: reward points were redeemable only at Landmark stores. A closed loop, no published exchange rate, no airline at the end of it — and the Landmark chain has since closed. The travel side was never included either: Travel Plus was a ₹3,000-a-year add-on, and the Priority Pass it softened was membership with the visits charged at the door.

Your renewal — keep, downgrade or cancel

There is no renewal arithmetic to run on this card yet — and a break-even we cannot source is not one we will print.

Keep, downgrade or cancel

what we can and cannot price

Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade

IndusInd Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.

What has changed under this card

  • 15 Jun 2026 IndusInd doubles its DCC fee to 2% on the mass shelf, and holds 1% on the premium one issuer-wide
  • 25 Mar 2025 IndusInd hikes redemption fee to ₹149, caps cash-outs at 50% issuer-wide

We price what is in force today — a change that has not happened yet is not in these numbers. the full archive for this card →

If you call to cancel

What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →

The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.

What's good

  • Lifetime free — Nil to join, Nil to renew and Nil for add-ons on IndusInd's own bank-wide MITC, in two editions seventeen months apart
  • Six savings points on every ₹100 spent at Landmark, half again the Gold rung's four
  • Two savings points per ₹100 at departmental stores, restaurants and groceries; one and a half on movie tickets and mobile bills
  • Half a savings point on every ₹100 of fuel, on top of the 2.5% fuel surcharge being waived
  • Sneak previews of Landmark's annual sales, exclusive monthly discounts and free tickets to its quiz and book-reading events
  • Free gift wrapping on your purchases, with the paper of your choice
  • Pick your own statement cycle from the 3rd, 5th, 8th, 12th or 18th of the month
  • Total Protection against unauthorised transactions, up to the card's full credit limit

Watch out

  • WITHDRAWN — no Landmark card appears on IndusInd's live credit-card range or anywhere in its current bank-wide MITC, and the Landmark chain itself has closed
  • Points were redeemable ONLY at Landmark stores, in IndusInd's own words — a closed loop with no published exchange rate and no route to any airline
  • The Gold rung earned two thirds as much at Landmark and exactly the same everywhere else, for exactly the same Nil price — the gap between the two cards is one table row
  • Away from Landmark the card is ordinary: half a point per ₹100 on "all other spends", which is most spending
  • The travel benefits were NOT included — Travel Plus was a separate ₹3,000-a-year programme, and the Priority Pass it softened was membership rather than entry, with IndusInd's own MITC pricing every visit at US$27
  • Unlike the Deutsche-era Gold, IndusInd's page carries NO welcome voucher of any kind on either rung
  • Service tax on the fuel surcharge was never waived and fell on the cardholder
  • Revolving cost was 3.83% a month — an APR of 46% — and foreign currency was marked up the full 3.5%

What these points actually fly

IndusInd Bank has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

You cannot. IndusInd's live credit-card range names no Landmark card, its current bank-wide MITC prices none, and the books-music-and-movies chain this card was built around is gone. The live "Landmark Rewards" cards from SBI Card and Standard Chartered are a DIFFERENT retailer — the Landmark Group's Lifestyle, Max, Home Centre and Spar — and are on this board separately.

IndusInd Bank publishes no income or age cutoffs for this card. Blank means blank — we don't invent numbers to fill a grid.

Pioneer Legacy's quarterly lounge visit now costs ₹1.5 lakh of spend
1 complimentary domestic lounge visit a quarter, no spend condition → From the Jul–Sep 2026 quarter, the visit unlocks only on ₹1,50,000 of previous-quarter spend

The spend-tracking regime IndusInd switched on in April now bites: from the July–September 2026 quarter, Pioneer Legacy's single complimentary domestic lounge visit is granted only if you put ₹1.5 lakh through the card the quarter before. Legacy sits in the same ₹1.5L tier as Pinnacle; Indulge, Solitaire and Crest need ₹5 lakh for theirs. The gate covers the domestic visit — the Priority Pass international allowance isn't part of this condition. On a private-banking card with a ₹50,000 retail joining fee, spend-gating one lounge visit a quarter is a remarkably small door to put a toll on, and IndusInd did it anyway.

A year after halving Legend's lounge visits, IndusInd came back and took the rest. From 7 March 2025 the card offers no complimentary lounge access, domestic or otherwise — on a product still marketed with a ₹5,000 joining fee. The lifetime-free Legend crowd shrugs; anyone who paid for this card on the strength of its airport perks got a two-step lesson in how IndusInd sunsets a benefit.
