What it's worth to you, after the fee
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until SBI Card publishes terms we can cite.

2 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · why it ranks #799
Why #799 A cab co-brand SBI switched off in December 2025 and is replacing with a card from its own house range. It is carried because the plastic is still in wallets while the replacement is issued, and because a reader searching for it should meet the discontinuation notice rather than a product page that still sells the pitch.
The take
For six and a half years this was the answer to a narrow question — you take a lot of Ola cabs and you would like the card to notice. It is over. SBI Card's own product record for the card now leads with an Important Message that says it plainly: "W.e.f. Dec'25, Ola Money SBI Credit Card has been discontinued", and "your Ola Money SBI Credit Card will be replaced with the equally-rewarding SimplyCLICK / SimplySAVE SBI Credit Card." That is a forced migration, not a closed-to-new-applicants notice, and it is the whole story of the card today. The fee survives in both of SBI's fee documents — nothing to join, ₹499 a year after that, waived outright if you put ₹1,00,000 through it in the preceding year — and so does a 1% fuel-surcharge waiver capped at ₹100 a statement cycle. What does not survive is the reason anyone held it. The accrual it was famous for was swept into an Ola Money wallet rather than onto the card account, which means two things worth acting on: the value never sat where you could see it, and closing the card does not fetch it back. So before the replacement plastic arrives, open the Ola Money wallet and spend down whatever is in there. Then read the terms of whichever house card SBI hands you, because it is a different product with a different bargain, and nobody asked you.

Keep, downgrade or cancel
what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade
SBI Card publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.

- 31 Mar 2026 SBI kills both Etihad Guest co-brands and force-swaps holders into MILES issuer-wide

If you call to cancel
What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- Nothing to join, and the ₹499 renewal is reversed outright if you spend ₹1,00,000 on the card in a year
- 1% fuel-surcharge waiver at petrol pumps across India, capped at ₹100 a statement cycle
- Carried for the record: SBI filed this card under travel on its own site, and it is the last of the big Indian cab co-brands
Watch out
- DISCONTINUED with effect from December 2025 — SBI Card's own product record says so, and says holders will be moved to a SimplyCLICK or SimplySAVE SBI Card
- The replacement is chosen by SBI, not by you, and it is a general-purpose house card with a completely different bargain
- Whatever the card paid you went into an OLA Money wallet run by Zipcash Card Services, NOT onto the card account — closing the card does not hand that balance back
- No accrual is claimed here because the wallet it paid into is not a currency this desk prices, and borrowing SBI's own catalogue scrip would misprice it fourfold
- No lounge access: the card appears in neither Set A nor Set B of SBI's Airport Lounge Access page
- 3.5% foreign-currency markup — SBI's reduced-markup list names AURUM, ELITE, PRIME NRI Secured, IndiGo SBI Card ELITE, Tata Neu Infinity and the MILES range, and this is on none of them
- Interest runs to 3.75% a month (45% a year)
What these points actually fly
SBI Card has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

Does your spend count toward the fee waiver?
not published — and we say which
₹1,00,000 a year is the bar that waives the ₹499 fee. A different question from the one above — earning points and counting toward a threshold are separate rules, and issuers write them separately.
Not published. SBI Card states what the OLA Money SBI Card earns, but has not published which spend categories count toward the fee waiver — the ₹1,00,000 bar. We won't guess it from the earn table or from a sibling card: Axis published three cards' rules on one day and all three lists differed. If you hold this card and have it in writing from the issuer, send us the document and we'll source it.

the route in — no cutoffs published
The cutoffs and the actual route in — not the "apply now" button, the door that opens.
Closed to new applications — existing cardholders keep the card; there is no way in.
You cannot. SBI Card discontinued the product with effect from December 2025 and is replacing existing cards with a SimplyCLICK or SimplySAVE SBI Card; the product page remains up carrying that notice. If you hold one, the useful move is not about the card at all — check the balance in your OLA Money wallet, because that is where everything this card paid you was sent, and it is governed by Ola's terms rather than SBI's.
SBI Card publishes no income or age cutoffs for this card. Blank means blank — we don't invent numbers to fill a grid.

- 3 Aug 2026SBI drops Etihad Guest from the MILES transfer table — the last SBI door into the programmeSBI Card Travel Credits transferred 1:1 into Etihad Guest, one of eighteen airline partners in §3 of the MILES rewards T&C. At the ₹1/partner-mile anchor that was a full-value exit, and it was the only route left after the two Etihad Guest SBI co-brands were retired. → No Etihad route at all. The MILES rewards T&C now lists seventeen airline partners and Etihad is not one of them — the word does not appear anywhere in the seven-page document. Every other SBI partner survives at the same ratio.
SBI Card's own MILES rewards T&C, re-fetched on 22 August 2026 and carrying a 3 August 2026 ModDate inside the PDF, has one fewer airline in it than the edition this desk read on 2 August. The deletion is provable from the numbering rather than from absence alone: the table's first seven rows are unchanged (Air Canada 3, Air France-KLM 4, Air India 5, British Airways 6, Cathay 7), and every row from position eight onward has moved up exactly one — Thai from 14 to 13, Qantas from 17 to 16. Position eight was Etihad Airways / Etihad Guest / 1:1. All twenty-four other partners we carry, airline and hotel, are still there at the same ratios, so this is Etihad being dropped and not SBI narrowing transfers. The timing matters more than the ratio. SBI phased out the Etihad Guest SBI and Etihad Guest SBI Premier cards from December 2025 and reissued holders onto MILES products, and the transfer route was what made that migration survivable — a Premier holder who had spent six years earning Etihad miles could keep feeding the same account through Travel Credits. That is now closed, and India's remaining pipes into Etihad Guest run through BOBCARD's Etihad co-brands, not through SBI. If you hold SBI Travel Credits earmarked for an Abu Dhabi business seat, they are Aeroplan, Flying Blue, Avios or Maharaja points now. ON THE DATE: SBI publishes no notice and no cut-off. The date here is the day the desk read the change out of SBI's own document; the PDF's internal ModDate puts the edition at 3 August 2026, which is the earliest day we can prove, not an announcement.
