What it's worth to you, after the fee
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until AU Small Finance Bank publishes terms we can cite.
Why we decline to value some cards, and what it takes to change that →
2 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · why it ranks #507
Why #507 A business card carried, not ranked. What it is: a lifetime-free procurement card with eight domestic lounge visits a year and a billing cycle the company chooses — and no published reward rate at all, which is why it is carried unvalued.
The take
The procurement half of AU's commercial pair, and the better-specified one on paper: eight complimentary DOMESTIC lounge visits a year — AU says domestic explicitly here where the Corporate card's page just says "airport" — up to 48 days of interest-free credit, and, unusually, a choice of billing cycle so a company can line the statement up with its own operating month. It exists to keep purchase spend off the T&E card: AU's own framing is "Separate operational and capital expenditure from other corporate spends", with a centralised expense-management console over the top. It is lifetime free, stated twice — once on the page and once in a fee table that covers all three commercial cards in a single NIL/NIL row. What is missing is the same thing missing from its sibling: a published reward rate. AU's interest table names a "Purchase Reward Credit Card" variant, so a rewards construct exists, and the number for it is not in any document AU publishes. This desk prices the lounge and the fee and will not invent the rest. Also worth knowing before you hand these out: the MITC strips corporate variants of balance transfer, EMI on call, merchant EMI, add-on cards and personal loans.

Keep, downgrade or cancel
what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade
AU Small Finance Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.

If you call to cancel
What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- Lifetime free — "No Joining or Annual fee for Corporates", and NIL/NIL in AU's own fee table
- 8 complimentary domestic airport lounge visits a year
- Up to 48 days of interest-free credit
- A choice of billing cycle, so statements line up with the company's operating month
- A centralised expense console to track, monitor and control purchase spend
Watch out
- AU publishes NO reward rate for this card anywhere — this desk will not guess one, so the card is carried and not ranked
- Domestic lounge access only; nothing international is published at any tier
- No balance transfer, no EMI on call, no merchant EMI, no add-on cards and no personal loans — the MITC excludes all five for purchase variants
- Interest runs up to 3.49% a month, 41.88% a year
- AU charges a lounge card-validation fee that it explicitly says will NOT be reversed
- No forex markup is published for the commercial cards — AU's own fee table renders that row unreadably
What these points actually fly
AU Small Finance Bank has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

the route in — no cutoffs published
The cutoffs and the actual route in — not the "apply now" button, the door that opens.
Direct application — no invite list, no banking relationship required.
Through the company. AU publishes no eligibility table for the commercial shelf beyond "Eligibility criteria apply as per AU Small Finance Bank policy", and the commercial MITC addresses the "Corporate/Business entity and/or Cardmember" throughout, so the limit is sanctioned to the business and allocated from there.
AU Small Finance Bank publishes no income or age cutoffs for this card. Blank means blank — we don't invent numbers to fill a grid.

- 7 Jul 2026AU makes the CheQ AU card lifetime free, dropping ₹499 joining and ₹499 renewal"CheQ AU — Joining Fee ₹499 & Renewal Fee ₹499"; the LED variant "Joining Fee ₹1499 & Renewal Fee ₹499"; renewal waived by spending ₹3,00,000 in a year. → "CheQ AU Credit Card — Lifetime free (₹999 + GST one-time fee applicable for LED Card only)." CheQ no longer appears in the fee-waiver block at all, because there is no fee left to waive.
Caught as live drift on 24 August 2026 and dated to the document that carries it: AU's bank-wide MITC and Schedule of Charges, version 2.21, "Last updated on 7th July'2026". The previous edition — version 2.19, 16 May 2026, still served from a different path on AU's own site — prints the old numbers in the same table, which is what makes this a change and not a reading error. AU announced nothing. A ₹499 card becoming lifetime free is a real buff and the direction is worth naming, but price it honestly, because the fee was never the problem with this card. AU advertises the CheQ AU rungs as percentages — 12% on CheQ Travel and utility bills, 5% on online shopping, 1% on everything — and every one of those headlines is exactly double what it returns, because AU prints the POINT count with a percent sign and a CheQ Point is worth ₹0.50 at AU's own published redemption rates. The base rung AU calls "1%" pays 0.5%. Removing ₹499 a year from a card that returns half what its own page claims makes it a better free card, not a good one — and the earn still lands in a CheQ app account rather than on your statement, and expires two years from credit. ONE READING TRAP, since a later lane will hit it: three editions of this MITC sit at four URLs on au.bank.in, two of them differing only in filename case and punctuation, eight months apart. Only /credit-cards/mitc(with-schedule-of-charges).pdf serves v2.21. A drift check run against any of the others is a drift check against a stale table.

AU's first big rewrite of its points program hits from three directions at once: the e-voucher rate — the redemption most cardholders actually use — drops from ₹0.25 to ₹0.20 per point, every successful redemption now costs ₹99 plus taxes, and Zenith's earning gets a 40,000-point statement-cycle ceiling. A closed-loop currency with no transfer partners just got 20% smaller and pay-per-exit.
