RBL's Miles Transfer Programme opens 12 airline and hotel partners to five cards
RBL's Miles Transfer Programme terms (PDF dated 18 August 2026) set one per-card ratio for every partner: Lumière 1 point to 1 mile, Nova 2:1, Insignia and World Safari Plus 3:1, iGlobe 4:1. The twelve partners are Air India Maharaja Club, IndiGo BluChip, AirAsia Rewards, Ethiopian ShebaMiles, SpiceJet SpiceClub, Air Arabia Air Rewards, Club ITC, Orchid Rewards, Radisson Rewards, Vietnam Lotusmiles, Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Miles and Qatar Privilege Club. Transfers have no minimum, run up to 50,000 points a request and two requests a month, and only the primary cardholder can make them. No other RBL card is on the list.

RBL Bank has put its points transfers into one rulebook, and the classic RBL point finally has somewhere to go besides Club ITC.
The Miles Transfer Programme terms, a PDF dated 18 August 2026 and linked from the Insignia card’s page, set one ratio per card, not per partner:
| Card | RBL points per partner mile |
|---|---|
| Lumière | 1 |
| Nova | 2 |
| Insignia Preferred Banking | 3 |
| World Safari Plus | 3 |
| iGlobe | 4 |
All five cards reach the same twelve partners: Air India Maharaja Club, IndiGo BluChip, AirAsia Rewards, Ethiopian ShebaMiles, SpiceJet SpiceClub, Air Arabia Air Rewards, Club ITC, Orchid Rewards, Radisson Rewards, Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles, Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Miles and Qatar Airways Privilege Club.
What it is worth. A classic RBL point is worth ₹0.25 on RBL’s travel portal. At 3:1 into a ₹1 mile (Maharaja, Avios through Qatar, ShebaMiles, Lotusmiles) or a Club ITC Green Point, that becomes ₹0.33 a point, a third better than the portal. iGlobe’s 4:1 only matches the portal. Into AirAsia, Radisson, IndiGo or SpiceJet, whose points are worth ₹0.22 to ₹0.50, the transfer loses money on every card. Nova and Lumière points are worth a flat ₹1 on the portal, so Nova’s 2:1 loses everywhere and Lumière’s 1:1 pays only on a premium-cabin award.
The rules. There is no minimum, but you must transfer in multiples of your card’s ratio. The cap is 50,000 points a request and two requests a month. Only the primary cardholder can transfer, and the name on the card must match the airline account. RBL says most transfers land within 3 business days and allows up to 10. World Safari Plus pays ₹99 plus GST per request. RBL can change any ratio “without prior intimation”.
Who is left out. The terms list five cards, and no other RBL card can transfer. That includes Icon, the plain World Safari and World Safari Lite.
Two loose ends. Club ITC’s own RBL page still asks for at least 100 points on Insignia, World Safari Plus and iGlobe. RBL’s terms say there is no minimum and that they win any conflict. Singapore KrisFlyer is still among the logos on the Nova product page but is not one of the twelve partners. Check the RBL rewards portal before you count on KrisFlyer.
The terms do not say when the programme started, so this post is dated by the PDF. Vietnam Airlines’ own notice dates its RBL tie-up from 4 September 2026.
Comparisons this changes
RBL Lumière vs RBL Nova
One bank, one currency, two doors — Lumière moves points at 1:1 (airlines and Club ITC alike) while Nova pays 2:1 tolls on the same routes. The fee gap buys the ratio.
ICICI Emeralde Private Metal vs RBL Nova
The answer flips at ₹1.25L a month: ICICI Emeralde Private Metal below it, RBL Nova above.
HDFC Diners Club Black Metal vs RBL Nova
The answer changes hands 2 times between ₹0.25L and ₹5L a month — this pair is decided by your spend, not by the ranking.
