Axis adds IndiGo BluChip to the EDGE transfer roster

Two months after gutting the partner list, Axis adds one back: IndiGo BluChip joins the EDGE roster as a Group B partner. Until now there was no IndiGo route from EDGE Miles or Reward Points at all.

The ratios come in two phases, and the gap between them is the whole story. Until 17 August 2026, EDGE Miles transfer at an intro 1:2 and EDGE Reward Points at 5:2. After that, the standard new-partner rates kick in: Miles at 2:1 and points at 5:1 — a 4x worse deal on Miles than the intro window. Magnus Burgundy holds 5:2 on points. Transfers land in 2–3 days.

What you get on the other side is genuinely useful: lifetime-valid BluChips on India’s biggest airline, the carrier that famously launched without any loyalty program in 2006.

Our take: move at the intro ratio if IndiGo is your airline — 1:2 on Miles is real value. After 17 August, do the maths before you move anything. At 2:1, most balances are better off staying put.
