What it's worth to you, after the fee
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until SBI Card publishes terms we can cite.
Why we decline to value some cards, and what it takes to change that →
2 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · why it ranks #717
Why #717 Carried, not valued. A ₹1,499 gourmet-grocery co-brand whose stores were sold off in 2019 — the fee row outlived the shops, and SBI never published a reward table we can price.
The take
The fee row is the last thing standing. Nature's Basket was Godrej's gourmet-grocery chain until Spencer's Retail bought it in 2019, and SBI's co-brand has had no product page, no brochure and no application funnel for years — but it still carries a live row in the RBI Key Fact Statement at ₹1,499, waived only at ₹2 lakh of annual spend. It has dropped out of SBI's MITC, which prices ninety-two other variants and does not name this one at all. That is a demanding bar for a card built around a speciality-grocery basket, and it is the only number about the card that SBI still publishes. What it earns, where, and at what rate: nothing. If you are still holding one, the question is not what it pays — it is whether you cleared ₹2 lakh last year, because if you did not, ₹1,499 is going on this month's statement for a card whose whole reason to exist has been renamed.

Keep, downgrade or cancel
what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade
SBI Card publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.

If you call to cancel
What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- Still carries a live fee row in SBI's RBI Key Fact Statement — existing holders are still billed
- Renewal fee waived on ₹2 lakh of spend in the preceding year
Watch out
- Withdrawn to new applicants — no product page, no application form, and SBI's own 67-card catalogue does not list it; only the fee row survives, for existing holders
- SBI publishes NO reward table for this card — we will not print a rate it has not stated
- No product page, no brochure, no catalogue record, and not even a row in SBI's MITC — one line in the Key Fact Statement is the whole public record
- ₹1,499 a year unless you spend ₹2 lakh — a steep bar for a speciality-grocery co-brand
- The co-brand partner changed hands in 2019, when Godrej sold Nature's Basket to Spencer's Retail
What these points actually fly
SBI Card has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

Does your spend count toward the fee waiver?
not published — and we say which
₹2,00,000 a year is the bar that waives the ₹1,499 fee. A different question from the one above — earning points and counting toward a threshold are separate rules, and issuers write them separately.
Not published. SBI Card states what the Nature's Basket SBI Card earns, but has not published which spend categories count toward the fee waiver — the ₹2,00,000 bar. We won't guess it from the earn table or from a sibling card: Axis published three cards' rules on one day and all three lists differed. If you hold this card and have it in writing from the issuer, send us the document and we'll source it.

You cannot. The card is absent from SBI's 67-record product catalogue, has no product page and has no application form; the fee row survives for existing holders.

- 3 Aug 2026SBI drops Etihad Guest from the MILES transfer table — the last SBI door into the programmeSBI Card Travel Credits transferred 1:1 into Etihad Guest, one of eighteen airline partners in §3 of the MILES rewards T&C. At the ₹1/partner-mile anchor that was a full-value exit, and it was the only route left after the two Etihad Guest SBI co-brands were retired. → No Etihad route at all. The MILES rewards T&C now lists seventeen airline partners and Etihad is not one of them — the word does not appear anywhere in the seven-page document. Every other SBI partner survives at the same ratio.
SBI Card's own MILES rewards T&C, re-fetched on 22 August 2026 and carrying a 3 August 2026 ModDate inside the PDF, has one fewer airline in it than the edition this desk read on 2 August. The deletion is provable from the numbering rather than from absence alone: the table's first seven rows are unchanged (Air Canada 3, Air France-KLM 4, Air India 5, British Airways 6, Cathay 7), and every row from position eight onward has moved up exactly one — Thai from 14 to 13, Qantas from 17 to 16. Position eight was Etihad Airways / Etihad Guest / 1:1. All twenty-four other partners we carry, airline and hotel, are still there at the same ratios, so this is Etihad being dropped and not SBI narrowing transfers. The timing matters more than the ratio. SBI phased out the Etihad Guest SBI and Etihad Guest SBI Premier cards from December 2025 and reissued holders onto MILES products, and the transfer route was what made that migration survivable — a Premier holder who had spent six years earning Etihad miles could keep feeding the same account through Travel Credits. That is now closed, and India's remaining pipes into Etihad Guest run through BOBCARD's Etihad co-brands, not through SBI. If you hold SBI Travel Credits earmarked for an Abu Dhabi business seat, they are Aeroplan, Flying Blue, Avios or Maharaja points now. ON THE DATE: SBI publishes no notice and no cut-off. The date here is the day the desk read the change out of SBI's own document; the PDF's internal ModDate puts the edition at 3 August 2026, which is the earliest day we can prove, not an announcement.

- official Key Fact Statement — "Nature's Basket SBI Card 1,499 1,499 (Waived off on annual spends of Rs.2 Lakh or more in the preceding year)"
- official MITC — SBI's fee table prices ninety-two card variants and does not name Nature's Basket in any of them, which is the second document to have dropped the card
- official SBI's own 67-card product catalogue — neither Nature's Basket tier appears in it, which is why no earn rate is published for this card
