What it's worth to you, after the fee

Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until Kotak Mahindra Bank publishes terms we can cite.

The take

This is the card at the other end of your holiday booking. Kotak issues the Travel Agent Credit Card to travel agencies, travel management companies and online travel agents to settle the tickets and hotel nights they buy on their clients' behalf, and the whole product is built around that one job. Start with the number nobody else on Kotak's shelf gets. Revolving credit here costs 1.49% a month — 17.88% a year — against 3.30% to 3.75% on every other Kotak card, commercial or consumer, and against a 42–45% APR norm across the Indian market. On a business that floats a client's airfare for three weeks before the client pays, that gap is the product. Kotak pairs it with an 18-day payment window after the statement, so the interest-free run reaches 48 days from the start of a billing cycle. What it does NOT have is everything a travel card usually sells. There is no lounge access: Kotak's own India lounge programme divides its rooms into Sets A, B and C, names the eligible variants in each, closes with "Any variants not explicitly mentioned herein will not be eligible", and this card appears in none of them. There is no travel insurance either — the corporate MITC's clause 8.1 lists the eight variants the Zurich Kotak cover applies to and this is not one, which is a striking omission on a card sold to people who book flights for a living. The railway booking surcharge is charged rather than waived, unlike on Kotak's corporate Platinum and Classic. Forex runs up to 3.5%, the Indian norm. And there is a charge here that exists nowhere else: since March 2026 Kotak levies 0.90% plus GST on Air India transactions made through select travel management companies and online travel agents. A card built for ticketing that surcharges one airline's tickets is worth reading twice before your agency puts volume through it. The earn is the usual corporate silence, only louder. Kotak sets any incentive per company by email — and clause 7.2 records that automatic accrual on Travel Agent cards was switched off on 1 January 2019 and the holders told.

Keep, downgrade or cancel

what we can and cannot price

Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade

Kotak Mahindra Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.

  • 12 Feb 2025 RBI lifts Kotak's ten-month card-issuance ban issuer-wide

If you call to cancel

What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →

The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.

What's good

  • 1.49% a month — 17.88% a year — the lowest published interest rate on any Kotak credit card, retail or commercial
  • 18 days to pay after the statement, so interest-free credit reaches 48 days from the start of a billing cycle
  • ₹999 a year and nothing to join
  • 1% fuel surcharge waived on fills between ₹500 and ₹3,000, capped at ₹3,500 a calendar year
  • Card replacement after loss or damage is waived

Watch out

  • 0.90% plus GST on Air India transactions through select travel management companies and online travel agents — a surcharge on one airline, on a card built for ticketing
  • No lounge access at all: Kotak's India lounge programme names its eligible variants set by set and this card is in none of them
  • No travel insurance — the corporate MITC lists the eight variants Zurich Kotak covers and this is not among them, unlike Corporate Platinum or Solitaire Business
  • The railway booking surcharge is CHARGED here, where Corporate Platinum, Classic and Privy League Platinum have it waived
  • Automatic reward accrual was discontinued on 1 January 2019; anything you earn now is whatever your company negotiated by email
  • No cash withdrawal — the facility does not exist under Kotak's Corporate Liability programme
  • Forex markup runs up to 3.5%, the Indian norm, on a card whose whole job is buying travel
  • Utility, gas and insurance payments carry a 1.1% transaction fee; post office and education 0.7%

What these points actually fly

Kotak Mahindra Bank has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

There is no consumer application, and no product page — Kotak publishes this card only as a Key Fact Statement filed under its corporate-cards document path and as a row in the corporate MITC. The route is the commercial-cards desk at service.corporatecards@kotak.com, through a Program Administrator or Authorized Signatory, and the terms sit alongside a "Kotak Corporate Credit Card Agreement of the Bank" signed at onboarding. The intended holder is a travel agency, a travel management company or an online travel agent; Kotak publishes no turnover floor.

Kotak Mahindra Bank publishes no income or age cutoffs for this card. Blank means blank — we don't invent numbers to fill a grid.

Dream Different's unredeemed reward points expire after 30 September 2026
Reward points accrued on the Dream Different Credit Card up to 31 March 2026 sitting in the account with no stated expiry date → A hard forfeiture date — "After 30th September, 2026, any unredeemed Reward Points will automatically expire"

The second half of the note that closed the programme is the part holders can still act on. Kotak's cardholder agreement gives every Dream Different point accrued up to 31 March 2026 a six-month redemption window that shuts on 30 September 2026, after which unredeemed points are forfeited outright. At the agreement's own conversion rate of 25 paise per point, a year of the card's headline 4-points-per-₹100 online earn on ₹1 lakh of online spend is roughly 4,000 points, about ₹1,000 — small money, but money that becomes zero on 1 October. Points redeem against the Kotak catalogue (flights, hotels, vouchers, merchandise) or as a statement credit through the rewards portal or the contact centre, each with its own minimum, so a last-week redemption risks missing the date on processing alone.
