HDFC Bank Titanium Edge

What it's worth to you, after the fee
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes a fee — every net-value number here would be wrong by exactly the fee we can't find. Everything we can source — the earn rate, the transfer routes, the lounge doors — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until HDFC Bank publishes a fee schedule we can cite.
Why we decline to value some cards, and what it takes to change that →
2 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · why it ranks #762
Why #762 Carried, not priced. HDFC states the earn to the point and the waiver to the rupee, and never once prints the fee — not on the product page, not on the fees page, and not in the August 2026 Key Fact Statement, which prices every other variant it still services.
HDFC states the rate on the product page: "100 Reward Points = ₹10 for CashBack redemption against outstanding Credit Card amount" — ten paise a point, and the only exit the bank publishes for this card. HDFC's fair-usage table caps accrual at 15,000 Reward Points in a statement cycle, and a closed card's balance survives 30 days for products and vouchers only.
The take
Titanium Edge is a small card with one genuinely unusual feature and one glaring hole. The feature is fuel: HDFC advertises a 100% fuel surcharge waiver, not the 1% that runs across the rest of its range, capped at ₹250 a statement cycle — which on a typical Indian surcharge is a real ₹3,000 a year for someone who fills up on the card. The hole is the price. HDFC's fees page for this card publishes a heading, a waiver threshold of ₹50,000 and no number; its own FAQ confirms the card is "not free" and then declines to say what it costs; the product page has no fee block; and the card is missing entirely from the August 2026 Key Fact Statement, which prices every other HDFC variant still in service. We will not guess. That absence is why this card is carried but not ranked or valued here. The rewards themselves are the same shape as the rest of the withdrawn range and just as thin: two Reward Points per ₹200, fifty per cent more on dining, and HDFC's own line that 100 points redeem as ₹10 — a tenth of a percent. Up to 50 days of interest-free credit and EMV chip protection round it out. HDFC's FAQ also describes it as "a premium metal card", which it plainly was not, and is a reminder of how little of that page can be relied on. Sourcing has stopped.

what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes a fee — every net-value number here would be wrong by exactly the fee we can't find. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade
HDFC Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.

If you call to cancel
What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- 100% fuel surcharge waiver, capped at ₹250 a statement cycle — HDFC's usual rate is 1%
- 50% more Reward Points on dining
- Renewal fee waived on ₹50,000 of spend within a year
- Up to 50 days of interest-free credit
- 100 Reward Points redeem as ₹10 against the card's outstanding balance
Watch out
- Withdrawn — HDFC states "Sourcing of this Credit Card has been stopped" and takes no new applications
- HDFC publishes NO fee figure for this card anywhere — not on either of its own pages, and it has no row in the August 2026 Key Fact Statement
- The fees page says only that the fee can be waived; the FAQ confirms the card is not free without naming a number
- A Reward Point is ten paise, so the 2-per-₹200 headline is 0.1%
- Accrual is capped at 15,000 Reward Points in a statement cycle
- Rent and government payments have earned nothing since 1 January 2023
- HDFC's own FAQ calls it "a premium metal card", which the rest of the page contradicts
What these points actually fly
HDFC Reward Points move to Avianca LifeMiles , Air France-KLM Flying Blue , Etihad Guest , United MileagePlus , Air India Maharaja Points , AirAsia Rewards , SpiceJet SpiceClub , Accor Live Limitless (ALL) , Marriott Bonvoy , Club ITC , IHG One Rewards , Radisson Rewards and Wyndham Rewards — and those price every award dynamically. There is no published chart to quote, so we quote nothing: an estimate is not a seat.

Does your spend count toward the fee waiver?
not published — and we say which
₹50,000 a year is the bar that waives a fee no issuer document states. A different question from the one above — earning points and counting toward a threshold are separate rules, and issuers write them separately.
Not published. HDFC Bank states what the HDFC Bank Titanium Edge earns, but has not published which spend categories count toward the fee waiver — the ₹50,000 bar. We won't guess it from the earn table or from a sibling card: Axis published three cards' rules on one day and all three lists differed. If you hold this card and have it in writing from the issuer, send us the document and we'll source it.

the route in — no cutoffs published
The cutoffs and the actual route in — not the "apply now" button, the door that opens.
Closed to new applications — existing cardholders keep the card; there is no way in.
You cannot. HDFC prints "Sourcing of this Credit Card has been stopped. Existing customers of this card will continue to enjoy the benefits", and its FAQ adds "We are currently not accepting new applications for the HDFC Bank Titanium Edge Credit Card." An existing holder wanting to know what the card actually costs will have to ask HDFC directly or read the statement — the bank does not publish it.
HDFC Bank publishes no income or age cutoffs for this card. Blank means blank — we don't invent numbers to fill a grid.

- 23 Sept 2026Axis EDGE brings Accor back, drops ITC, and adds Cathay, Miles & More and HiltonAccor and Marriott off the grid since 2 April 2026; Club ITC live; no Cathay, Miles & More or Hilton → Accor live at the punished rates; ITC removed; Cathay, Hilton and Miles & More live; Marriott still gone
Axis's own Travel EDGE terms, re-read 25 September 2026, already show the grid that went live on 23 September. Accor ALL is back, and not at the old Atlas 1:2: EDGE Miles convert at 2:1 (Olympus 1:2) and EDGE Rewards at 5:1, with Magnus for Burgundy at 5:2 and only Burgundy Private still at 5:4. Club ITC is off the table. Three partners are new. Cathay Asia Miles sits on that same punished grid. Hilton Honors is the ordinary one: EDGE Miles 1:2, EDGE Rewards 5:2, Burgundy 5:4. Lufthansa Miles & More is the exception on Atlas, which converts 1:1 there while every other standard airline on that card is 1:2; the EDGE Rewards side of Miles & More is the ordinary 5:2. Marriott stays removed. Qatar Privilege Club was already back. Flying Blue, Air India and Qantas moved into Group A, which is the capped group. The Axis Rewards credit card's Amex network is advertised as joining-fee and annual-fee nil for a limited period; there is no separate Amex variant on this board, so that offer is not modelled as a fee change.
