Bandhan puts its four credit cards in front of the market, on Mastercard

Bandhan Bank's first credit-card portfolio went public on 8 September: Sparks, Ignite, Flare and Lumina, reported as Mastercard. The cards and their terms were already live, and the network is the only new fact.

See it with every other change

Bandhan Bank announced its first credit-card portfolio on 8 September 2026. There are four variants, Sparks, Ignite, Flare and Lumina, and the reports describe them as issued with Mastercard.

We were already carrying all four. The product pages, the Value Charts and an MITC dated 13 July 2026 were live before the announcement, and the cards have been on our board since mid-August. So the launch changes one thing for us: the network.

  • Network: reported, not verified. None of Bandhan’s card terms has ever named a network. Business Today’s write-up does, and Bandhan’s clarification to the stock exchanges about the share-price move is reported as calling the launch “in collaboration with Mastercard”. We have not read that filing ourselves, so the card pages still show the network as not published.
  • Terms: unchanged. Sparks and Ignite have no joining fee and renew at ₹499 and ₹999. Flare costs ₹2,499 a year and Lumina ₹9,999. The points are Delight Points, which Bandhan’s own Value Charts price at ₹0.25 each, and they don’t transfer to any airline or hotel.
  • Who can apply: existing customers only. Every Apply Now button still says “For existing Bandhan Bank customers only”, so you need a Bandhan account before you can get any of the four.

Lumina is the one worth looking at if you travel. Its forex markup is 1% and it includes international lounge access. The other three are lounge cards with an earn rate you can ignore.
