How we got this ₹ figure

₹0.10 is our HOUSE value for a POPcoin — what a disciplined traveller actually clears, not the best redemption we have ever seen (₹1.00, the ceiling) and not the worst you can always fall back on (₹0.10, the floor). It is the number every route on this page is priced with.

The mark has 2 dated points in data/valuation-history.yaml, each one pinned to a quantified event in the tracker — no interpolation. The last move was re-marked 6 Sep. How we value a point →

YES Bank POP-CLUB0.2%YES Bank

A closed-loop coin in POP's own app, not a YES Rewardz point and not a rupee on the statement. POP writes "1 POPcoin = ₹1" across its home page, but that is the DISPLAY CONVENTION its earn rates are quoted in — the same page calls 2 coins per ₹100 "2% POPcoins" — and not a rate you can clear. The two rates POP publishes with mechanics attached sit a factor of ten apart. Cashing out is "10 POPcoins = ₹1" in POP's own app listing: no purchase attached, always available, so it is the floor and it is where we mark. Inside POP's own store a coin really does stand in for a rupee — POP sells 3 POPminis for ₹149 or for ₹50 + 99 POPcoins — but its FAQ caps coins at "between 10% and 30% of the value of the product", so the rupee rate is the ceiling and it is reachable only against a POP-catalogue purchase you were making anyway. That cash mark is what prices the YES POP-CLUB card's headline rung at 1% rather than the 10% a rupee reading invents. One caveat we could not resolve: POP's FAQ prices its Reward Store voucher shelf at "0.25 paisa" a coin, which read literally is a fortieth of POP's own cash rate — it sets neither the mark nor the band.

  • 6 Sept 2026 ₹0.10 House re-mark, and a CORRECTION of our own first mark, not a move in the coin — nothing POP publishes changed between these two dates. POP's own app listing states the one conversion with no purchase attached: "partially converted into cashback (10 POPcoins = ₹1)", ten times the paise we carried. The band now spans that cash floor to the ₹1 a coin really does buy inside POP's own store (3 POPminis for ₹149, or ₹50 + 99 POPcoins), which POP's FAQ caps at 10–30% of any product's value.
  • 17 Aug 2026 ₹0.01 First mark, and the desk got it wrong — kept dated so the correction below is visible rather than quietly overwritten. It read POP's coin as one paise from the shape of the earn alone (10 POPcoins per ₹100 online, 2 per ₹100 elsewhere), with no POP document behind the number.

Straight answers

The questions people actually type about POPcoins — answered from the same data as everything above, with the same numbers.

What is 1 POPcoin worth in INR?

Our desk marks POPcoins at ₹0.10 a POPcoin — so 1,000 POPcoins are worth ₹100 and 10,000 are worth ₹1,000. That is the number every route on this page is priced with. The ₹0.10 floor is the redemption you can always fall back on; the ₹1.00 ceiling is the best sweet spot we have actually verified. The mark is holding flat, last reviewed 6 Sept 2026. The valuation index prices it against every other program we cover.

Which Indian cards earn POPcoins?

1 Indian card earns POPcoins outright. Best-ranked earner: YES Bank POP-CLUB, at 0.2% reward rate. The card list above names each of them with its rank, its ratio and what one of its points becomes here.

When did POPcoins last devalue?

We hold no dated events for POPcoins at all — no devaluation, no buff, nothing sourced — and we will not fill that gap with a guess. The nerf-risk grade reads stable, which on a program with no logged history means untested rather than safe.
