HDFC Diners Club Privilege adds ₹60,000 spend gate

HDFC Bank has updated its Diners Club Privilege card to tie lounge vouchers to prior-quarter spend. From 1 July 2026, cardholders will need to spend ₹60,000 in the previous quarter to receive 3 quarterly lounge vouchers, consisting of 2 domestic and 1 international voucher. This change means that not all cardholders will have access to lounge vouchers, only those who meet the ₹60,000 spend requirement. The vouchers will be usable only in the following quarter, adding an extra layer of restriction. Our take: if you’re a steady spender on your HDFC Diners Club Privilege, this change won’t affect you much.
