HDFC Bank Business Regalia lounge visits now voucher-based — 2/quarter

HDFC Bank has changed the way Business Regalia cardholders access domestic lounges. As of 5 January 2026, cardholders will no longer be able to swipe their card at the lounge terminal to avail of their complimentary visits. Instead, they will receive 2 lounge vouchers per quarter, provided they have spent ₹1 lakh in the previous quarter. The quota of 2 visits per quarter remains the same, but the mechanism of access has changed. Cardholders will need to download the vouchers from the portal before visiting the lounge. This change is similar to the one made to the Diners Club Privilege card earlier in the year. Our take: Business Regalia cardholders should check the portal regularly to download their lounge vouchers and ensure they do not miss out on their complimentary visits. It is also essential to note that the voucher system may add an extra step that can silently fail, so cardholders should be diligent in checking for and downloading their vouchers before traveling.
