Axis Bank has waived the annual fee on every Vistara card, effective from the next renewal cycle after 18 Apr 2025. The complimentary Maharaja Club tier membership, renewal ticket voucher, and milestone ticket vouchers will be withdrawn. Lounge, golf, and dining benefits will survive, and cardholders will continue to earn Maharaja Points on all eligible spends till further notice. The Vistara Signature card, in particular, will no longer offer tier membership and ticket vouchers, despite product pages still advertising these benefits. The removal of these key benefits significantly alters the value proposition of the card. Our take: if you hold the Vistara Signature card primarily for the tier membership and ticket vouchers, it may be time to reconsider your card strategy. The loss of these benefits outweighs the waiver of the annual fee, making the card less desirable for its original purpose. Consider alternative uses for the card, such as lounge access or earning Maharaja Points, but be aware that the card’s value has diminished significantly.
