What it's worth to you, after the fee
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until RBL Bank publishes terms we can cite.
Why we decline to value some cards, and what it takes to change that →
2 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · why it ranks #306
Why #306 Carried, not valued. RBL prices this card in both fee documents and markets it nowhere — the fee is Nil, the earn is unpublished, and the two premium carve-outs it sits inside are all we can say about it.
The take
World Xclusive is the strangest row in RBL's catalogue: a card the bank prices twice, in the Schedule of Charges and in the MITC, and markets nowhere. It has no product page in RBL's 1,955-URL sitemap. What the fee documents do say is revealing. The annual fee is Nil in both columns and the add-on fee is Nil too, which only Insignia and iGlobe otherwise get. The foreign-currency markup is 1.5% rather than the 3.5% default — the same rate as Insignia and iGlobe, and better than every Platinum and World card. And it is one of the handful of cards exempt from the ₹99 reward-redemption fee, sharing that carve-out with Lumière, Nova and the two Insignia tiers. Read together, that is the fee profile of an invitation-only product at the top of the World range, not a free card anyone can pick up. What RBL does not publish is how it earns, so we carry it and price nothing.

Keep, downgrade or cancel
what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade
RBL Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.
What has changed under this card
- 7 Jan 2026 RBL bolts a 1% fee onto FASTag loads and tolls — the fifth 1% line on its charge sheet issuer-wide
- 1 Jul 2025 RBL gates domestic lounges behind ₹35k a quarter issuer-wide
- 15 Oct 2024 RBL strips points from education, government and wallet spends issuer-wide

If you call to cancel
What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- No annual fee and no add-on card fee — a combination only Insignia and iGlobe otherwise get
- 1.5% foreign-currency markup against RBL's 3.5% default
- Exempt from the ₹99 + GST reward-redemption fee, alongside Lumière, Nova and the Insignia tiers
Watch out
- There is NO product page — RBL prices this card and describes it nowhere
- RBL publishes no reward rate for it, so we will not print one
- The Nil fee is not an open offer: the fee profile matches RBL's invitation-only premium tier
- Nothing published on lounges, welcome benefits, milestones or eligibility
- RBL charges 1% on FIVE transaction types its Schedule of Charges lists separately from the reward exclusions: rent (MCC 6513, on every transaction), fuel and auto above ₹10,000 a transaction (capped at ₹3,000), utility spends above ₹50,000 a month, education paid through third-party apps such as CRED, PhonePe or Paytm (school and college websites are exempt), and — with effect from 7 January 2026 — FASTag loading and tolls above ₹10,000 a transaction. These are FEES, listed nowhere near the reward exclusions: a category can both cost you 1% and earn you nothing
What these points actually fly
RBL Bank has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

Invite-only — there is no public application form. The bank calls you.
There is no public application. RBL runs no product page for World Xclusive — it is absent from the bank's entire sitemap — so there is no form and no advertised eligibility. The card is live: it holds a current row in both the Schedule of Charges and the MITC, and it is named by exception inside two of the Schedule's card-wide clauses, so holders are being billed and serviced. Ask RBL directly if you have been offered one.
RBL Bank publishes no income or age cutoffs for this card. Blank means blank — we don't invent numbers to fill a grid.

The fine print
7 of 7 MITC rows published
What the MITC actually says — the rates, fees and cutoffs the brochure skips.
RBL Bank MITC cum Key Fact Statement, read 2026-08-17, plus the Schedule of Charges RBL-CC-SOC-V2-12-12-2025. FEE COLUMN PROVENANCE: RBL's tables have two columns headed "Annual membership Fee (1st year)" and "Annual membership Fee (2nd year onwards)" and they are NOT inverted — the first is the charge to GET the card, the second is the recurring charge. This card: World Xclusive Nil/Nil with a Nil add-on card fee — one of only three rows where the add-on is free, alongside Insignia Preferred Banking and iGlobe. RBL publishes no income or age criteria for any card in the MITC. Other card-wide charges: cash deposit at an RBL branch ₹100; cheque return or auto-debit reversal ₹500; merchant EMI processing 1.5% or ₹150, whichever is higher; 1% on rent (MCC 6513); 1% on fuel and auto transactions above ₹10,000, capped ₹3,000; 1% on utility spends above ₹50,000 a month; 1% on education payments made through third-party apps; 1% on FASTag loading and toll transactions above ₹10,000 with effect from 7 January 2026; fuel surcharge 1% or ₹10, whichever is higher. All charges attract GST at 18%.

- 22 Aug 2026RBL relaunches the Shoppers Stop co-brand as a Gold / Platinum / Black trioAn older single Shoppers Stop co-brand line → Three tiers — Gold (₹1,000), Platinum (₹5,000), Black (₹10,000) annual — earning 10 RP/₹200 (Gold, Platinum) or 15 RP/₹200 (Black) across the Shoppers Stop Universe, with points worth ₹0.25 / ₹0.50 / ₹1.00 respectively
RBL rebuilt its Shoppers Stop co-brand into a three-card ladder. The fee rung buys a richer point, not just more of them: a Reward Point is worth ₹0.25 on Gold, ₹0.50 on Platinum and ₹1.00 on Black, so Black's 15 RP per ₹200 at ₹1 a point is a genuine 7.5% back on First Citizen days inside the Shoppers Stop Universe. Welcome vouchers scale the same way (₹500 quarterly on Gold, ₹2,000 plus Platinum membership and a makeover on Platinum, ₹1,500 quarterly on Black). No lounge access on any of the three — these are store cards and earn like it, with value only inside Shoppers Stop. All three are already on our board.
