What it's worth to you, after the fee
Welcome: Vouchagram vouchers from Pantaloons, Bata, Raymond, Charles and Keith and Hush Puppies — footnoted "only applicable on select fee plan", and IndusInd publishes no fee plan for this card, so there is no way to tell which one qualifies.
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes a fee — every net-value number here would be wrong by exactly the fee we can't find. Everything we can source — the earn rate, the transfer routes, the lounge doors — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until IndusInd Bank publishes a fee schedule we can cite.
Why we decline to value some cards, and what it takes to change that →
1 notes on the card itself: how it is issued
Platinum Select redeems IndusInd points at ₹0.60 against vouchers and ₹0.40 in cash, both cut on 1 March 2024, against the ₹0.80 house value that only the Tiger's 1:1 Maharaja route supports — with cash redemption capped at 2,500 points a calendar month since 1 September 2024. Our 0.40% rate bakes the ₹0.60 haircut in.
Best real exit: Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer at ₹0.28/pt (4:1 transfer).
The take
A discontinued entry card that is honest about being thin. The earn is one reward point per ₹150, flat, with no weekend uplift and nothing on fuel — and since IndusInd cut this card's redemption to ₹0.60 a point against vouchers and ₹0.40 in cash in March 2024, that works out at 0.4%. The one thing it used to have that its siblings did not was a BookMyShow buy-one-get-one, and IndusInd discontinued that on 1 October 2022. What remains is insurance: ₹2.25 lakh across lost and delayed baggage, passport, ticket and missed connection, plus Total Protect fraud cover up to the credit limit including add-on cards, and a 1% fuel surcharge waiver the bank itself values at ₹240 a year. There is a genuine oddity in its favour: IndusInd's 2019 rewards revision, which cut utilities, insurance, government, education and rent to 0.70 points per ₹100 across most of the book, explicitly does not apply to this card — so the flat rate really is flat. What we cannot tell you is what it costs. IndusInd publishes no fee for it anywhere: the MITC lists it under discontinued cards with no numbers, and the product page prices nothing while still footnoting that the welcome gift depends on your fee plan. So if you hold one, check your statement rather than any published document, and weigh whatever you find against 0.4%.

Keep, downgrade or cancel
what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes a fee — every net-value number here would be wrong by exactly the fee we can't find. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade
IndusInd Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.

What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- One flat rate on everything — IndusInd's 2019 rewards revision, which cut utilities, insurance, government, education and rent to 0.70 points per ₹100 on most of the book, expressly excludes this card
- Travel insurance up to ₹2.25 lakh: ₹1,00,000 lost baggage, ₹50,000 lost passport, and ₹25,000 each for delayed baggage, lost ticket and missed connection
- Total Protect covers unauthorised and counterfeit transactions up to the credit limit, on add-on cards too
- 1% fuel surcharge waiver at any petrol pump in India — IndusInd's own illustration puts it at ₹240 a year on ₹2,000 of monthly fuel
Watch out
- INDUSIND PUBLISHES NO FEE FOR THIS CARD — the MITC lists it under discontinued cards with no numbers and the product page prices nothing, so we state no annual fee rather than invent one; check your own statement
- Closed to new applications: "we have discontinued this product for new sourcing, and same is only displayed as a reference for existing … Cardholders"
- 0.4% on everything — 1 reward point per ₹150 at the ₹0.60 the bank redeems it for
- The BookMyShow buy-one-get-one was discontinued on 1 October 2022
- Points are worth ₹0.60 against vouchers and ₹0.40 in cash, against a ₹0.80 house value; cash redemption is capped at 2,500 points a calendar month since 1 September 2024
- Fuel has earned nothing since 1 April 2018
- NO airport lounge access of any kind
- Club Vistara redemptions closed 31 October 2024 and InterMiles closed 21 January 2025 — both were exits this card's own redemption menu advertised

Closed to new applications. The surviving product page is headed "Platinum Select Credit Card (Discontinued)" and carries IndusInd's own notice that the product was discontinued for new sourcing and is displayed only as a reference for existing holders; the MITC's discontinued list names it too. Holders remain in the 3.95%-a-month interest group, so accounts are serviced. The live entry card in its place is the Platinum, which is genuinely nil on both fees and pays 1.5 points per ₹150.
IndusInd Bank publishes no income or age cutoffs for this card. Blank means blank — we don't invent numbers to fill a grid.

- 23 Sept 2026Axis EDGE brings Accor back, drops ITC, and adds Cathay, Miles & More and HiltonAccor and Marriott off the grid since 2 April 2026; Club ITC live; no Cathay, Miles & More or Hilton → Accor live at the punished rates; ITC removed; Cathay, Hilton and Miles & More live; Marriott still gone
Axis's own Travel EDGE terms, re-read 25 September 2026, already show the grid that went live on 23 September. Accor ALL is back, and not at the old Atlas 1:2: EDGE Miles convert at 2:1 (Olympus 1:2) and EDGE Rewards at 5:1, with Magnus for Burgundy at 5:2 and only Burgundy Private still at 5:4. Club ITC is off the table. Three partners are new. Cathay Asia Miles sits on that same punished grid. Hilton Honors is the ordinary one: EDGE Miles 1:2, EDGE Rewards 5:2, Burgundy 5:4. Lufthansa Miles & More is the exception on Atlas, which converts 1:1 there while every other standard airline on that card is 1:2; the EDGE Rewards side of Miles & More is the ordinary 5:2. Marriott stays removed. Qatar Privilege Club was already back. Flying Blue, Air India and Qantas moved into Group A, which is the capped group. The Axis Rewards credit card's Amex network is advertised as joining-fee and annual-fee nil for a limited period; there is no separate Amex variant on this board, so that offer is not modelled as a fee change.
