1 Corporation Bank Reward point is worth ₹1.00 in India.
₹1.00₹1,000 per 1,000 points, our house mark
₹1.00 · first marked 23 Aug 2026, never re-marked since
How we got this ₹ figure
₹1.00 is our HOUSE value for a point — what a disciplined traveller actually clears, not the best redemption we have ever seen (₹1.00, the ceiling) and not the worst you can always fall back on (₹1.00, the floor). It is the number every route on this page is priced with.
We hold one dated point for Corporation Bank Reward Points — the mark itself. There is no earlier valuation on our record, so this page shows no trend line rather than drawing one. How we value a point →

Corporation Bank Visa Signature Credit Card0.8%Corporation BankCorporation Bank Visa Platinum Credit Card0.8%Corporation BankCorporation Bank Visa Gold Credit Card0.7%Corporation BankONE VALUE, FOUR ACCRUALS — AND THAT IS WHY THE TIER SPLIT LIVES ON THE CARDS AND NOT HERE. Corporation Bank's Credit Card Users Guide Booklet (Internet Archive capture 20160428140315), clause 5.12, is the only document that prices this unit, and it states both halves in one breath, verbatim: "Classic card members shall earn 1 point for every Rs. 200/- spend, Gold Cardholders shall earn 1 point for every Rs.150/- spend and Platinum and Signature Card holders shall earn 1 point for every Rs.125/- spend. Amounts under cash withdrawal, balance transfer will not be eligible for earning reward points. Cardholder can redeem reward points at 1 point = Rs. 1 on attaining a minimum of 500 reward points for Classic and Gold, 750 for Platinum and 1000 for Signature Cards. Reward points less than minimum eligible points will lapse after end of the financial year." The PRICE is one rupee for every tier; only the ACCRUAL moves. So the currency carries ₹1.00 and each card carries its own `earn.base` — Signature and Platinum 0.8 points per ₹100 (0.8%), Gold 0.667 (0.667%), Classic 0.5 (0.5%). Baking a tier into a house value would have priced the same published rupee three different ways. FLAT, BECAUSE THE BANK PUBLISHED EXACTLY ONE REDEMPTION. There is no catalogue, no voucher shelf, no fuel rail and no rung quoted in rupees either side of par anywhere in the four Corporation Bank credit-card documents the Archive holds — the launch note, the Eligibility Conditions sheet, the Users Guide Booklet and the application form. No band exists to draw, so value = floor = ceiling. The same reading `dbs-vantage-points` and `citi-cash-reward-points` get at ₹1.00. SCRIP AND NOT `money`, WHICH IS THE CLOSE CALL ON THIS ROW. This file's header sets the test: does the issuer's own document credit ONE UNIT TO THE CARD ACCOUNT AS ONE RUPEE? Read the launch note carefully and the answer is no — what is credited is the POINTS: "High reward points (1 point for every Rs.125/- spent) which will be directly credited to the card holder's account." A rupee arrives on a statement the moment it is earned; a Corporation Bank point sits in a balance that must reach 500, 750 or 1,000 depending on which plastic you hold before it can become anything, and anything short of that threshold "will lapse after end of the financial year". A statement rupee has no tier-specific floor and no annual fuse. That is the same line drawn for `google-pay-stars` and for `syndicate-reward-points`, and it is why `inr-cashback` — the row reserved for documents that say "cashback" — is expressly not the home here. NOT `union-rewardz`, AND THE MERGER IS PRECISELY WHY. Corporation Bank was amalgamated into Union Bank of India on 1 April 2020, and Union marks its own point at ₹0.25 on this index off its product pages' "1 Reward point = Rs. 0.25". Filing these cards on the successor's slug would quarter a rate Corporation Bank printed in writing AND list a shelf withdrawn in 2020 as a live earner on Union's hub. A rebrand can revalue; an operator chain resolves a slug, it does not set a price. NO TRANSFER ROW, AND NOT ONE PARTNER WAS EVER NAMED. Clause 5.12 names one exit and it ends at the card account. No airline, no hotel, no coalition, no ratio appears in any of the four documents — the closest the bank came to travel was the launch note's unqualified "Lounge facility at major airports", which is a benefit and not a redemption. There is nothing here to invert.

Expiry: ANNUAL, AND CONDITIONAL ON THE THRESHOLD — clause 5.12, verbatim: "Reward points less than minimum eligible points will lapse after end of the financial year." The fuse bites only on a balance below the redemption floor, and that floor is per tier: 500 points for Classic and Gold, 750 for Platinum, 1,000 for Signature. On the Signature that is ₹1,25,000 of spend inside one financial year before a single point survives it.
