ICICI un-reserves Mumbai's Adani Silver lounge — the whole Annexure-1 board gets in
The August 2026 edition of ICICI's consolidated domestic lounge list drops the asterisk from row 57, Mumbai T2's Adani Silver. One character, and the room goes from three unlimited-tier cards to every card on Annexure 1 — 23 ICICI slugs on our board, up from 2. Read the two limits before you plan around it.
ICICI runs its entire lounge programme off one PDF, and the access model on it is a single typographic character. Rows carrying an asterisk are reserved; the footnote confines them to “Diamant, Emerald Private Metal and Times Black Credit Card customers”. Rows without one go to every card on Annexure 1, at that card’s own quarterly quota.
Until the August 2026 edition, row 57 read * Adani Silver Lounge / Terminal 2 / International. In the August 2026 edition — PDF CreationDate 29 August 2026, stamped “Last updated on August, 2026” — it reads “Adani Silver International Lounge”, still at row 57, and the asterisk is gone.
The footnote itself did not change. So an unasterisked row means what it has always meant on this list: a Coral, a Rubyx, a Sapphiro, a MakeMyTrip or an Adani One now opens a room that was Emeralde-Private-and-Times-Black only. On our map that grant went from 2 ICICI card slugs to 23.
Two limits, both load-bearing
It spends a domestic visit. ICICI files this room in its DOMESTIC lounge list even though the room name, the Terminal Type column and the address all say International — it sits at T2 Level 4, past immigration, after duty-free. So a visit here comes out of your card’s domestic quarterly quota. It is not a free international visit bolted onto a card whose international line reads “None”, and it only helps you at all if you were flying out internationally anyway.
It is the overflow room. Adani Silver opens 12:00–23:59 only, and it is a cold buffet with standard pours. Adani East is the better room at CSMIA if your card opens it. Annexure 1’s standing terms apply either way: three hours a visit, and a ₹2 authorisation at the door (₹1 on American Express).
The honest caveat
This is a single-edition change on a row that was simultaneously renamed, which is exactly the shape an editing slip takes. We verified it two ways rather than trusting a formatted extraction — a raw extraction of the whole PDF finds exactly five asterisks on lounge names, and every one it does find is intact: both 080 VIP rooms at Bengaluru T2, Hyderabad’s Privé and Delhi’s Privé. The character is genuinely absent from row 57 rather than lost in the parse. If it returns in the next edition, this grant reverts to the two unlimited-tier slugs and we will say so here.
The same edition grew the list from 87 rooms to 89 and added five ICICI business and corporate cards to Annexure 1 at two visits a quarter. That changes nothing on our board — those cards already advertised that quota on their own product pages.
Our take
A small door, but a wide one. Nothing else on ICICI’s list moved this way in 2026, and the bank has spent the year going the other direction — it gated Adani One and MakeMyTrip lounge access on 1 July. Treat this as a T2-specific bonus rather than a reason to hold an ICICI card: if you are already at Mumbai international with a Coral or a Sapphiro in your pocket and a domestic visit unspent, you now have somewhere to sit.
