Priced on the everyday mix — 30% groceries · 10% utilities · 20% travel · 6% fuel · 34% everything else — with this card's published category rules applied. Plus milestones, minus the fee. No accelerator credit — and a business card's accelerator is usually the point. This card is not on the board, which ranks personal cards only; it is ranked against other business cards on /best/business, where the tax, GST and vendor-payment rungs ARE credited and its ₹ reads higher.

Pays for itself at ₹25,000 a month

At ₹25,000 a month — ₹3,00,000 a year — on the everyday mix this card returns ₹1,500 gross (earn ₹1,500) against its ₹500 fee = ₹1,000 net — the first rung at or above ₹0. The ladder runs in ₹1,000 steps to ₹1,00,000 a month and ₹10,000 steps to ₹5,00,000; figures are rounded to the hundred, and the accelerator is never credited.

Why #449 A business card carried, not ranked. What it is: the ₹500 edition of ICICI's cashback MSME card — the same grid and the same exclusions as the Black, on a tenth of the monthly ceiling, and the lounge access has to be earned every quarter.

₹500 + GST
Annual fee1
₹5,00,000 spend
Fee waiver

Nothing to value — ICICI credits cashback to the card account, so a rupee is a rupee. The ceiling is what needs reading: ₹500 of cashback a month, whatever the spend. At the 1% band that is ₹50,000 of eligible spend, which is less than the ₹75,000 a month the 1% band itself requires, so the two rules fight each other. Separately, paying the total amount due through ICICI Bank Corporate Net Banking within seven days of the statement earns a further 0.20% of it — a payment rebate rather than a spend rate.

The take

Business Advantage Blue is the Black's smaller sibling and it is priced like one: ₹500 to join, reversed on ₹50,000 of spend in sixty days, and ₹500 a year after, reversed at ₹5 lakh of annual spend. The cashback grid is identical — up to 1% above ₹75,000 of monthly spend, domestic halving to 0.5% in the ₹25,000-to-₹75,000 band, international staying at 1% — but the ceiling is a quarter of the Black's, at ₹500 a month. That number does more work than the grid does: it is reached at ₹50,000 of eligible spend, below the ₹75,000 the top band itself requires, so a business that qualifies for 1% has already stopped earning it. The exclusions are the same and they are the real story: fuel, utilities, cash, insurance, government and tax payments and education earn nothing, and several carry a 1% fee under the business MITC. Lounge access is the other difference from the Black, and it is conditional rather than granted — two visits a quarter, but only if ₹35,000 went through the card in the PREVIOUS calendar quarter, and only for the primary cardholder. Air accident cover at ₹75 lakh and the 24x7 i-Assist concierge come as standard. Forex is 3.5% plus a 1% dynamic-conversion fee.

The downgrade

ICICI Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and the numbers above are the whole of it.

What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →

The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.

What's good

  • ₹500 a year, reversed at ₹5 lakh of annual spend, and the joining fee reversed at ₹50,000 in 60 days
  • Up to 1% cashback on domestic and international spend above ₹75,000 a month
  • 2 domestic lounge visits a quarter, earned by spending ₹35,000 in the previous quarter
  • A further 0.20% of the total amount due, credited when you pay through ICICI Bank Corporate Net Banking
  • Personal air accident cover of up to ₹75 lakh and a 24x7 i-Assist concierge

Watch out

  • Cashback stops at ₹500 a month — ₹50,000 of eligible spend at the top band, below the ₹75,000 that band requires
  • Lounge access is not granted, it is earned: ₹35,000 in the previous calendar quarter, primary cardholder only
  • Fuel, utilities, cash, insurance, government and tax payments and education earn nothing
  • Domestic cashback halves to 0.5% in any month between ₹25,000 and ₹75,000 of spend
  • 3.5% forex markup plus a 1% dynamic-currency-conversion fee; revolving credit costs 45% a year

What these points actually fly

No live transfer route takes Statement cashback (₹) into a programme that publishes an award chart. These points buy catalogue and portal redemptions, not award seats — so this page has no flight to show you, and will not invent one.

Does your spend count toward the fee waiver?

not published — and we say which

₹5,00,000 a year is the bar that waives the ₹500 fee. A different question from the one above — earning points and counting toward a threshold are separate rules, and issuers write them separately.

Not published. ICICI Bank states what the ICICI Bank Business Advantage Blue earns, but has not published which spend categories count toward the fee waiver — the ₹5,00,000 bar. We won't guess it from the earn table or from a sibling card: Axis published three cards' rules on one day and all three lists differed. If you hold this card and have it in writing from the issuer, send us the document and we'll source it.

    Lounge minor ICICI Bank
ICICI's September lounge list drops four doors and adds Bhogapuram
The prior edition opened Bhubaneswar's landside Bird Lounge, Vadodara's Premium Lounge, Visakhapatnam's Airr Lounge and Bar, and Dehradun's landside Bird Lounge, and filed Ahmedabad T2 international as The Lounge opposite Gate 3 → Those four rooms are gone. Bhubaneswar keeps O'Vetra near Gate 8, Dehradun keeps Carnations in the security hold, Vadodara is off the list, and Visakhapatnam's rows are Encalm domestic and international at Bhogapuram. Ahmedabad T2 international is Adani Silver Lounge - International, Gate 08, and it is not asterisked

ICICI re-saved its consolidated domestic lounge list on 10 September 2026 and moved rooms, not quotas. Four doors an Annexure-1 card used to open are off the list: Bhubaneswar's landside Bird Lounge (O'Vetra, airside near Gate 8, stays), Vadodara entirely, Visakhapatnam's Airr Lounge and Bar, and Dehradun's landside Bird Lounge (Carnations, in the security hold, stays). Visakhapatnam's replacement is two Encalm rooms at Bhogapuram, which this map does not carry yet — the airport is not in our coordinate file, so those doors are recorded here and not drawn. Ahmedabad's T2 international row is no longer The Lounge opposite Gate 3. It is Adani Silver Lounge - International, first floor, Gate 08, and the row has no asterisk, so the whole Annexure-1 board gets it at each card's own quarterly quota rather than the three unlimited cards alone. Noida's three Jewar rows are still on the PDF and still unmapped.

    Lounge major ICICI Bank
ICICI's lounge-gate exemption expires for Adani One and MakeMyTrip
Adani One ICICI Signature, Adani One ICICI Platinum and the MakeMyTrip ICICI Bank Credit Card were exempt from the ₹75,000-per-quarter spend gate on complimentary domestic lounge access — "valid till Jun 30, 2026" → All three now "require spends of ₹ 75,000 to be made in a calendar quarter to unlock airport lounge access in the next calendar quarter, with effect from Jul 01, 2026"

ICICI's MITC, headed "Last updated on Aug 2nd, 2026", carries the expiry date inside the exemption list itself and then restates it as a dated instruction below. No lounge visit is removed — MakeMyTrip keeps 2 domestic a quarter plus 1 international, Adani One Signature 4 a quarter plus 2 Priority Pass, Adani One Platinum 2 a quarter — but all of them now cost ₹3 lakh of routed annual spend on top of the fee, which reprices the ₹750 Adani One Platinum hardest. The ₹75,000 excludes rent, government, education, EMI, fees, interest, DCC and reversals, and the qualifying quarter is offset (26th to 25th), so the spend that unlocks Oct-Dec was made between 26 June and 25 September. Worth flagging for the desk: ICICI's own "Upcoming changes to Credit Card features and charges" page, re-read 28 August 2026, still lists MakeMyTrip among the exempt cards with no expiry, and never names the Adani One pair at all. Two live ICICI documents, two different answers; the MITC is the regulated one and the more recently dated, so it is the one we follow.
