HDFC sells ALL Accor+ Explorer for 10,000 points on SmartBuy — without the free nights
SmartBuy now sells a year of ALL Accor+ Explorer for 10,000 points on Infinia, Diners Black and BizBlack Metal, and 20,000 on Regalia Gold and BizPower. You get Gold status, not the two free nights.
HDFC’s SmartBuy rewards catalogue now sells an ALL Accor+ Explorer membership for 10,000 Reward Points on Infinia, Infinia Metal, Diners Club Black, Diners Club Black Metal and BizBlack Metal. Regalia Gold and BizPower can buy the same membership, but at 20,000 points. CreditKeeda spotted the listing on 6 October 2026, and the coupon codes it issues are reported as valid until 17 December 2026.
What the points buy: a year of Explorer with 30 status nights, which is enough for ALL Gold on its own. The catch is that the HDFC-issued membership comes without the two Stay Plus free nights that a paid Explorer membership includes. Live From A Lounge and the TapNow community both flag the same gap.
The arithmetic: at our ₹1.00 house value, 10,000 points is ₹10,000 of HDFC currency. The same membership costs ₹23,199 a year at Accor’s new India price, but that price includes the two Stay Plus nights, and those nights are most of what Explorer is worth. Without them, you are paying ₹10,000 for Gold status and the member discounts. That is a fair trade only if Gold changes how you stay at Accor in the next twelve months. At 20,000 points, Regalia Gold and BizPower holders are paying double for the same thing. The same 20,000 points move 10,000 ALL points at those cards’ 2:1 ratio, which is about €200 off an Accor bill, so take the transfer.
What we did not change: no card file moves. This is a catalogue redemption with an expiry, not an earn rate or a transfer ratio, and we read it from three community reports rather than an HDFC document. If SmartBuy’s own terms say otherwise, they win.
