HDFC Bank cut the point value of Regalia from ₹0.60 to ₹0.50, a 17% decrease, and Diners Club Rewardz from ₹0.75 to ₹0.30, a 60% decrease. The changes also included cutting lounge access for Diners Club Rewardz entirely. This devaluation affected cardholders who relied on these rewards for travel redemptions, significantly reducing the value they could get from their points.
