Max is the newest name in YES BANK's fee schedule: it first appears in the master MITC re-issued on 5 October 2026, in the lifetime-free row, and YES's own page sells it on two lines — no fee at either end, and a reward headline on shop-counter and online spends.
Our full review3 good · 7 bad
It is for new customers only: YES says existing YES BANK credit cardholders are not eligible. The fee half is solid. The reward half is where to slow down. YES pays those rewards as cashback points that can only be spent in the Kredit.Pe app, and neither the product page nor the MITC says what a point is worth there, or caps how many you can earn. A percentage with no unit price is not a return, so this site prints none and leaves the card unranked on value rather than flatter it with arithmetic nobody published. There is nothing for a traveller in it either: the foreign-currency markup is the full Indian norm, and Max is absent from the MITC's lounge tables. Hold it as a free everyday card if the Kredit.Pe catalogue suits you; do not hold it for travel.
What's good
Lifetime free — NIL joining and NIL annual fee in YES BANK's MITC, and "Zero Renewal Membership Fee" on the product page
YES advertises a reward headline on eligible POS and online spends, paid as points redeemable in the Kredit.Pe app
UPI-enabled, per YES BANK's product page
Watch out
YES NEVER PRICES THE POINTS. They are "Cashback points which can be redeemed at KreditPe app" — a closed loop with no published value per point and no published cap, so we will not turn the headline into a return
Existing YES BANK credit cardholders are not eligible, per the product page
3.50% foreign-currency markup plus a separate 1% DCC markup — the full Indian norm, nothing for travel
No lounge access — Max is absent from the MITC's lounge tables
No points on rent, wallets, government, gambling, brokers, education, utilities, insurance, railways, tolls, marketing, financial institutions, wire transfers, agriculture, contract services or fuel
3.99% a month (47.88% a year) on revolving credit and cash — the MITC's "Other Credit Cards" tier
Late fee: nil up to ₹500 outstanding, then 10% of the statement balance or ₹1,350, whichever is lower
Rewards
YES Bank has not published what this card earns. Not zero: nothing stated either way. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described.
Category rules: not published. We have not found where this card earns less.

Keep, downgrade or cancel?
There is no renewal arithmetic to run on this card yet — and a break-even we cannot source is not one we will print.
We cannot work out a break-even without both the fee and the earn rate. What we can source is under Sources.

Downgrade: YES Bank publishes no card you can step down to, so we name none. That leaves keep or cancel.
3.50% + GST, plus a separate 1% DCC markup on INR-billed foreign transactions
Cash withdrawal fee
2.5% or ₹650, whichever is higher, w.e.f. 15-Jun-2026 — the bank-wide rule, which exempts only YES Private, AI Inside and virtual cards; YES does not say Max is virtual, and its page advertises rewards at shop counters

The interest (APR), late payment fee and over-limit fee are YES Bank's standard, the same on most of its cards: YES Bank's standard charges.
Lifetime free — “Max” first appears in the CMITC_V18_05102026 edition (5 Oct 2026), as the last name in the membership-fee grid’s NIL joining / NIL annual row and again in the forex table’s 3.50% bracket; the 7 Aug 2026 edition’s same row ends without it. Named nowhere else in the document — not in the lounge tables, not in the fuel-surcharge-waiver cap table, not among the cash-advance exemptions.
Direct application — no invite list, no banking relationship required.
New-to-YES-cards only: the product page says existing YES BANK credit cardholders are not eligible. Apply from the "Apply Now" button on YES BANK's Max product page. Rewards are redeemed in the Kredit.Pe app, so you will need that app to spend them.

Carried, not valued. YES prints a headline reward rate for this card and says the rewards are cashback points spent inside a partner app, without ever saying what a point is worth — so there is no return this site can compute, and taking the headline at face value would price a free card above cards that publish their terms.
Not published by YES Bank: the earn rate and the points it earns. We show these as "not published", never as zero.
How we work out the yearly value
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. This card is not in our rankings, the
calculator or the best-of lists until YES Bank publishes terms we can cite.
