What it's worth to you, after the fee
Welcome: 10,000 bonus InterMiles and a year of InterMiles Silver Tier membership, plus ₹750 flight and ₹1,500 hotel discount vouchers — and the same pair again for spending ₹60,000 in the first three months. Renewal paid its own bonus. None of it is claimable today.
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes a fee — every net-value number here would be wrong by exactly the fee we can't find. Everything we can source — the earn rate, the transfer routes, the lounge doors — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until ICICI Bank publishes a fee schedule we can cite.

3 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · the network variants · why it ranks #791
Why #791 The top rung of a co-brand ICICI has fully retired. Carried for the same reason as the Coral tier below it: readers still hold the plastic and still hold InterMiles balances, and a search for this card should land on that fact rather than on a listing page that behaves as though it were still for sale.
The take
This sat at the top of ICICI's InterMiles range — the co-brand the bank rebranded after Jet Airways collapsed and the Jet Airways ICICI cards lost their airline, with Coral at the entry and this Sapphiro tier above it. It paid four InterMiles per ₹100 on domestic spends and five on international, which at this desk's ₹0.20 house value is 0.8% and 1.0% — the best everyday accrual of the three tiers, and the same base rate as HDFC's InterMiles Signature. Fuel earned nothing and insurance and utilities earned a quarter of the standard rate. The rungs worth having were the portal ones — eight per ₹100 at intermiles.com and ten on Etihad revenue tickets, the highest InterMiles accrual any Indian card advertised — and both are theoretical now, because the InterMiles portal no longer sells flights, so this page prices the everyday rate and claims no accelerator. What it cannot tell you is the price. ICICI's fee schedule for this card lived behind a "Fees and Charges" tab that no archive captured, and the co-brand is absent from the bank's 46-page MITC entirely, so the fee field is empty rather than carrying a number nobody published — the Coral tier printed its ₹1,250 on the page itself and is priced accordingly, which is exactly the difference. It is finished as a product either way: ICICI's own URL resolves to the generic credit-card listing. What is worth saying is why it is carried at all. InterMiles was one of the few Indian earn-and-burn programmes with a real domestic redemption story, ICICI was one of its two main credit-card feeds, and the top tier is exactly where the big balances were built. If you hold one, the question is not what the card earns — it is switched off — but what is left in the programme and how to get it out. Cancel the card; go look at the balance.

what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes a fee — every net-value number here would be wrong by exactly the fee we can't find. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade
ICICI Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.

What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- While live: four InterMiles per ₹100 on domestic spends and five on international, doubling to eight on airline tickets bought at intermiles.com
- While live: ten InterMiles per ₹100 on Etihad revenue tickets booked through intermiles.com — the richest InterMiles rung any Indian card advertised
- Welcome benefits included a year of InterMiles Silver Tier membership on top of the bonus miles
- Carried for the record: the top tier of ICICI's InterMiles range, one of the two main Indian credit-card feeds into the programme
Watch out
- RETIRED — ICICI's product page for this card no longer exists; the URL resolves to the generic card listing, and no rate here is claimable today
- No fee is carried, and that is a real gap rather than a judgement: ICICI's fee schedule for this card sat behind a tab no archive captured, and the co-brand is absent from the bank's August 2026 MITC
- Accrual was capped at 60,000 InterMiles per anniversary year, and ICICI charged ₹7,500 to lift the cap for the rest of that cycle — a ceiling you paid through, not one you earned past
- Fuel earned zero InterMiles, and insurance and utilities earned one per ₹100 against the standard four
- Lounge access was spend-gated and went with the card: a pair of quarterly visits, unlocked only by ₹5,000 of spend in the calendar quarter before
- The eight- and ten-mile rungs were intermiles.com portal rungs and are theoretical now — that portal no longer sells flights, so no accelerator is priced here
- Any InterMiles balance sits in your InterMiles account, not on the card — a closed card does not hand it back
What these points actually fly
No live transfer route takes InterMiles into a programme that publishes an award chart. These points buy catalogue and portal redemptions, not award seats — so this page has no flight to show you, and will not invent one.

You cannot. ICICI's own path for this card, /personal-banking/cards/credit-card/intermiles/sapphiro-credit-card, resolves to the generic credit-card listing page instead of a product page, and the co-brand appears nowhere in the bank's current MITC. Existing holders should treat this as a closed product and check what is left in their InterMiles account.

- 10 Sept 2026ICICI's September lounge list drops four doors and adds BhogapuramThe prior edition opened Bhubaneswar's landside Bird Lounge, Vadodara's Premium Lounge, Visakhapatnam's Airr Lounge and Bar, and Dehradun's landside Bird Lounge, and filed Ahmedabad T2 international as The Lounge opposite Gate 3 → Those four rooms are gone. Bhubaneswar keeps O'Vetra near Gate 8, Dehradun keeps Carnations in the security hold, Vadodara is off the list, and Visakhapatnam's rows are Encalm domestic and international at Bhogapuram. Ahmedabad T2 international is Adani Silver Lounge - International, Gate 08, and it is not asterisked
ICICI re-saved its consolidated domestic lounge list on 10 September 2026 and moved rooms, not quotas. Four doors an Annexure-1 card used to open are off the list: Bhubaneswar's landside Bird Lounge (O'Vetra, airside near Gate 8, stays), Vadodara entirely, Visakhapatnam's Airr Lounge and Bar, and Dehradun's landside Bird Lounge (Carnations, in the security hold, stays). Visakhapatnam's replacement is two Encalm rooms at Bhogapuram, which this map does not carry yet — the airport is not in our coordinate file, so those doors are recorded here and not drawn. Ahmedabad's T2 international row is no longer The Lounge opposite Gate 3. It is Adani Silver Lounge - International, first floor, Gate 08, and the row has no asterisk, so the whole Annexure-1 board gets it at each card's own quarterly quota rather than the three unlimited cards alone. Noida's three Jewar rows are still on the PDF and still unmapped.
- 29 Aug 2026ICICI un-reserves Mumbai's Adani Silver lounge — the whole Annexure-1 board gets in
- 29 Jul 2026Times Black publishes its eligibility bar and swaps BLADE for Thumby Aviation
- 1 Jul 2026ICICI's lounge-gate exemption expires for Adani One and MakeMyTripAdani One ICICI Signature, Adani One ICICI Platinum and the MakeMyTrip ICICI Bank Credit Card were exempt from the ₹75,000-per-quarter spend gate on complimentary domestic lounge access — "valid till Jun 30, 2026" → All three now "require spends of ₹ 75,000 to be made in a calendar quarter to unlock airport lounge access in the next calendar quarter, with effect from Jul 01, 2026"
ICICI's MITC, headed "Last updated on Aug 2nd, 2026", carries the expiry date inside the exemption list itself and then restates it as a dated instruction below. No lounge visit is removed — MakeMyTrip keeps 2 domestic a quarter plus 1 international, Adani One Signature 4 a quarter plus 2 Priority Pass, Adani One Platinum 2 a quarter — but all of them now cost ₹3 lakh of routed annual spend on top of the fee, which reprices the ₹750 Adani One Platinum hardest. The ₹75,000 excludes rent, government, education, EMI, fees, interest, DCC and reversals, and the qualifying quarter is offset (26th to 25th), so the spend that unlocks Oct-Dec was made between 26 June and 25 September. Worth flagging for the desk: ICICI's own "Upcoming changes to Credit Card features and charges" page, re-read 28 August 2026, still lists MakeMyTrip among the exempt cards with no expiry, and never names the Adani One pair at all. Two live ICICI documents, two different answers; the MITC is the regulated one and the more recently dated, so it is the one we follow.
