What it's worth to you, after the fee
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until Citibank publishes terms we can cite.

2 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · why it ranks #805
Why #805 A department-store card that happened to be issued by a bank famous for travel cards, which is the only reason anyone confuses it for one. Carried as part of the closed Citi family, and carried honestly: the points never left Shoppers Stop.
The take
This is the department-store card in the Citi range, and it is the one whose migration changed least, because its rewards were never Citi's to begin with. FIRST CITIZEN points belong to Shoppers Stop; Axis says so in the plainest possible terms — "your FIRST CITIZEN Reward Points accumulated until the migration date will remain as-is in your First Citizen account" — which is why this card is absent from the reward-conversion table that governs the rest of the family. Nothing converted because nothing moved. The rest is the family story: Citi's Indian consumer business went to Axis Bank, every card relationship completed migration on 15 July 2024, and since that day the plastic has run the Axis Bank SHOPPERS STOP card's terms. So the rate and the fee live on that card's page, which this board already ranks, and what this page owes you is a warning rather than a number. The points are a store credit in a store account. There is no cash out, no statement credit, no airline and no hotel — the only exit is the Shoppers Stop till, online or in a shop. If you shop there constantly, that is fine and the Golden Glow membership is a genuine perk. If you were carrying this because a Citi card sounded like a travel card, it never was one, and the handover did not make it one.

Keep, downgrade or cancel
what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.
Your copy of this card
You hold this card.
Kept on this device, in your browser. It is never sent to us, never synced, and nothing else on the site reads it yet.
The downgrade
Citibank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.
If you call to cancel
What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- The only card in the family whose balance did not move at all — FIRST CITIZEN points sit in your Shoppers Stop account and always did
- Complimentary First Citizen Golden Glow membership, with access to exclusive sale previews
- The waiver threshold survives in writing: ₹30,000 of qualified spends, excluding rent and wallet transactions
Watch out
- WITHDRAWN — Citi India's consumer book was sold to Axis Bank and every card relationship completed migration on 15 July 2024
- Nothing here is valued, because what this plastic earns is the Axis SHOPPERS STOP card's points — that card is on this board and carries the numbers
- The points are a store credit: no cash, no statement credit, no airline and no hotel transfer, and the only exit is Shoppers Stop itself
- No lounge access of any kind, no transfer partner and no forex concession — this is a retail card, not a travel card
- Rent and wallet transactions do not count towards the ₹30,000 waiver threshold
- Axis publishes the waiver threshold but never the fee it waives, and citibank.co.in — the document that priced it — no longer resolves
What these points actually fly
Citibank has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

Does your spend count toward the fee waiver?
not published — and we say which
₹30,000 a year is the bar that waives the ₹500 fee. A different question from the one above — earning points and counting toward a threshold are separate rules, and issuers write them separately.
Not published. Citibank states what the First Citizen Citi Credit Card earns, but has not published which spend categories count toward the fee waiver — the ₹30,000 bar. We won't guess it from the earn table or from a sibling card: Axis published three cards' rules on one day and all three lists differed. If you hold this card and have it in writing from the issuer, send us the document and we'll source it.

Can you get it?
the route in — no cutoffs published
The cutoffs and the actual route in — not the "apply now" button, the door that opens.
Closed to new applications — existing cardholders keep the card; there is no way in.
You cannot. Citi stopped issuing Indian consumer cards on the sale of the business to Axis Bank, and migration of every card relationship completed on 15 July 2024. The card Axis offers former holders is the Axis Bank SHOPPERS STOP Credit Card, which is on this board with its fee, its earn and a verdict of its own.
Citibank publishes no income or age cutoffs for this card. Blank means blank — we don't invent numbers to fill a grid.
