AURUM Reward Points

Flat official peg — 4 AURUM RP = ₹1 (₹0.25/point) across the AURUM Rewards catalogue (vouchers, flights, hotels; ₹99+GST per redemption request). A separate currency from sbi-travel-credits. The 2025-26 transfer doors — 5:1 to Maharaja Club/Club ITC/BA Avios, 4:1 to AirAsia — price ₹0.16–0.20/point at house values, BELOW the peg, so the peg is the house value; ceiling = premium-cabin Avios through the 5:1 door (₹2.2/Avios ÷ 5). ITC prints the route but no ratio — 5:1 rides CardInsider. (SBI Card MITC + Club ITC partner grid + CardInsider, 2026-07-22.)

Floor = the worst redemption you can always fall back on; ceiling = the best sweet-spot exit. The house value is what a disciplined traveller actually clears.

5:1
Club ITC up to 5 working days
ITC's official grid names AURUM but prints NO ratio (min 500 RP, increments of 500, irreversible) — the 5:1 is CardInsider's. At ₹1/Green Point that's ₹0.20 back per ₹0.25 of points: a door, not a deal.

5:1
The one door with real upside — short-haul Avios pricing and Qsuite-tier partner awards above ₹2/Avios turn 5:1 into ₹0.40+ per RP, the only AURUM route that beats the catalogue outright. Ratio per CardInsider.
