Axis Magnus for Burgundy DCC markup rises to 2% — from 28 Aug 2026
Axis Bank's Magnus for Burgundy card will have a 2% Dynamic Currency Conversion markup from 28 Aug 2026, narrowing the arbitrage against the card's foreign-currency markup. The change takes effect from 28 Aug 2026, and cardholders should review their upcoming transactions to maximize the current rate.
Axis Bank will change the Dynamic Currency Conversion markup on the Magnus for Burgundy card from 1.5% to 2% from 28 Aug 2026. The late-payment fee will be topped out at ₹1,200 above ₹10,000 outstanding, and gift-card spend will be booked under the ‘Gift Card’ category. Bridge Fees, Road Fees, and Tolls will not earn EDGE Reward Points.
The change will also bring the payment appropriation order to fees and taxes, then EMIs, then interest, then purchases, and finally cash advances. The complimentary memberships linked to the card will only renew with explicit consent from 15 Nov 2026.
